Ht. 5'2", Start: 170 lb, Today: 170 lb, Goal: 130 lb - Hey everyone! I'm so excited to start out losing weight. I've never actually been this motivated to lose weight. Usually I will go to the gym for 2-3 days, and then quit, but this time things are very different. First of all, this is the first time in 2 years that I've had a schedule that allows time for me to get to the gym and still have some time for myself. The last couple of years I have been trying to fit work and school and homework and getting enough sleep, but it just never seemed like there were enough hours in the day! Not to mention all of the unhealthy college food that there is to choose from every night! I'm really dedicated this time though. I walked 3 miles on the track at my gym tonight, and for the past 2 weeks I have been alternating between this routine and walking 1 mile + 45 minutes of weight machines (usually 2 sets of 12-20 reps on each machine). I'm not sure how long it will take me to reach this goal or if I've even lost anything yet because I don't have a scale here..but I'm so excited to see how much I've lost when I go home in 3 weeks! Just want to wish everyone else good luck and your stories are all inspirational. I'm so glad that there is a place where we can all come together and talk about our experiences and motivate one another! :)
