Before you post a reply saying that you are overweight or that you want to lose weight, please first check our Weight Calculator . If the calculator says that you are healthy weight, please do not post a message saying that you are overweight or that you want to lose weight. This offends the kids who really are overweight. Thanks a lot. |
Message Replying To From Ally13, Age 23 Ht. 5'1", Start: 204 lb, Today: 134 lb, Goal: 115 lb - So I'm still training for the Thanksgiving 5k this year. I've increased the distance that I walk/jog, but I'm not really feeling my stamina building. When I run, I'm still going the same speed and I can do about the same distance before I have to walk for a bit. The only thing I'm noticing is that I start to catch my breath more quickly when I'm walking so there's less time between my walk:run ratio. Does anyone have any tips on what I can do to help better my time (I'd like to make it a 30min. 5k)/increase stamina? Hope all's well with everyone! |
