Ht. 5'6", Start: 189 lb, Today: 182 lb, Goal: 130 lb - Hey guys. I just wanted to make a post to encourage anyone trying tolose weight. First off I want to say that your weight is not a flaw, it does not make you a failure or less than. You do not have to lose weight to be "better", you choose to lose weight because you WANT to not because to SHOULD. Losing weight is a choice not a requirement. Also, as someone who loves to eat, realize that food is just food, nothing more or less. When you eat for any other reason than when you feel hungry, you will not be satisfied. I would eat and eat hoping I will feel better. It did, but only for a moment. When you eat only when hungry, you begin to trust your BODY to tell you when it needs food, not your brain or emotions. Even though I only lost 7 seven pounds and have a long way to go, I'm happy that I'm making progress after almost a year of being in a plateau.
