Hey! You know what I do? Whenever I see a pizza or some junk food, I say 'Do I want to gain 10 lbs?!' And I won't want it anymore, lol. I don't know, that's just what I do! Hope I've helped...in some way lol.

okay well yesterday i put a message up saying that a girl "motivated" me well since you want to know what she said to motivate me then ill tell you guys. she called me fat and everyone says that shes bigger than me so that got me really mad and i havent talked to her since, she keeps apoligizing but im not going to forgive her. i mean me and my friends joke around all the time but when it comes to weight its not really funny so now everytime im doing situps or pushups or running and im really tired and it feels like i can do anymore, i just think of what she said and that really gets me going! well thanks for the tips if you guys have anymore then just email me at xtreme1jnh7390@hotmail.com

hiya guys! I have just realized why i cant resist temptations!!! when i see people around me eating junk, or if its just sitting there, i think that if i dont eat it, ill miss out on fun! I dont know why. but can anyone think of a way to help me? I have tried to say to myself "dont worry you wont be missing out" but it never works!

Maybe this will help. Think that junk food is a drug. The same way you would say no to drugs, say no to junk food. Ask yourself, " Is it worth it?". There's no food that tastes better than being thin!

Hey everybody, I just wanted to say that I will be starting my diet tomorrow, Monday, September 30, 2002. I am just getting started. My mom went on-line to try and get me motivated to loose some weight. I am about 5 ft 2 and I weigh 155 lbs. I realize I am overweight. I wanted to let you know that I was starting my diet program thanks to all of the inspirational stories that I have read on the website. I did write down some of your e-mail addresses and will be e-mailing you for inspiration and motivation. Hi My name is Ashley and I'm from a small town in Kentucky! I'm on the verge of being "over-weight" and I've promised myself that I'm not going to let this happen! I started my own personalized diet today and I'll update on this page what happens in the next week or so. I weigh 147 lbs. and I'm hoping to get down to about 110 or 115 lbs. Andrea's right. You shouldn't lose it FAST. If you try to lose 2 to 5 lbs a week, when you get to where you want to weigh, it will stay off. I need to lose 150 lbs and I know exactly how you feel. And it's so hard because I just want to sit and play my Playstation. But my mom helped me get into the habit of eating right (we steam or BBQ almost everything). I have gotten used to never eating anything that is fried and I love Burger King frnech fries. But the biggest and the HARDEST was getting my butt up and moving. Walk around the block, scooter, dance, play with my dogs, anything you want. After a while, you just get used to NOT sitting so much and like I've been telling others, I drink TONS of ice water and chew sugarless gum. It makes my mind think its eating until the urge to eat goes away. My mom also told me to remember "I control my body... it does NOT control me" I... (view more)Andrea's right.
