if you want to look skinnier sit and stand up straight. always hold your head up.also if you are overweight dont wear baggy shirts, it just makes you look bigger. wear shirts that go just below your waist. also wear pants that arent too lose but make sure they aren't too tight either. *Good Luck*

Hello I'm 5 ft 1, eleven yrs old, and I weigh 228. I really hate my weight, so I need tips and help, please. I was 213 a coulpe weeks ago, but I was on a diet. My diet failed, and now I feel my self fatter. I know I'm getting bigger when I sit in my desk and I can't fit properly. Or when It is difficult to walk up stairs. In school my nickname is Hippo, and when I sit down all my flab rolles out and all the mean kids pich it. I really hate it when it's measuring day in the nurses office and I get weighed in front of everyone. And then the nurse wrappes a tape measurer around my waist and yells to the other nurse "35 inches". And then I get a letter sent home that said I qualified in the wieght class to not particapate in PE. Soo emarassing. I eat five main meals a day which I know is not good. But I love food so much! I sometimes can eat till I'm blue in the face. And my mom hates my size. Every time I eat sweats, she flinches. Plus when I shop she makes a huge scene when she finds out that I can't fit in anything. So I need some tips please, and especially for my thighs (I can't fit in to my shorts). But no sit ups cause my belly is to big. So Please tel me what I can do for my weight, and also please tell me about places that I can shop at. Please? I'm desperate. Thank you.

Try walking every day and night. At least 2 times a day. And a good place to shop for bigger clothes sizes (if you are into punk clothes) is Torrid. They have lots of clothes. Peace out.

Hey guys, On Saturday i went "School shopping" with my sister and a neighbor. Man was that depressing. Im really tall, so i only fit into tall pants, but it was really depressing because i didnt fit into the normal stores i usually do!!! Usually.. the only store i can get pants from is WeatherVane, but i couldnt fit into those.. It was really depressing. And then we went out to dinner, and i found out that when i go to the mall my dad feels bad for me cause he doesnt think i'll fit into "normal"clothes... so this year.. im just gonna try super hard to lose weight, and then when it gets down to the time to go to the beach im gonna say to my dad "BO YA!!" i did it!! lol (just so you know i post messages like this all the time but this is how i get motivated!! lol) So.. umm yeah.. thats my message.. write some if you wish! I know exactly how you feel. I don't know if you have Old Navy, but if you do, they have extended sizes for jeans. If you're an internet shopper, u might want to check out gap.com and/or ae.com. Hope I helped. Good luck!

hey, ive got the same problem. i have a small waist, and i am very tall (5'7), but my chest is a D. it always makes me look bigger then i am, and it sucks. But, if you buy shirts that are solid, it will make your chest look way smaller. Hope i helped at least a little!

Hey Girl! When I put on bakinis my stomach sticks out. When you go shopping try on tankinis, there like bikinis but they go lower. I just bought a tankini yesterday and I look skinny in it! Hope this helps!

Am i really fat? My mommy buys be jeans and they fit a month ago but now when i put them on i can't get the button to snap shut because my tummy is too big. My mommy said that they should still fit and that my stomach is too big. When i jump up and down it shakes a lot and it hurts to where pants that snap shut since they are all too tight. I think i am 4 foot 6. And when i was in the bathroom my mommy has a scail so i went on it and the numbers that came up were 124. I don't know what those mean. But am i really fat?

I am overweight just like you. I am 5'7'' and I weigh 200 pounds. I have found that gap.com has more sizes online for their jeans. Old Navy also has bigger sizes in their stores and online for jeans and shirts.(Almost all of my shirts are from Old Navy!)

I am about 200 pounds. I hate it when I can't find clothes that "regular" girls wear. Especially jeans! I have recently found that Gap.com has womens' sizes 0-20 exclusively online. They have boot-cut, flare, and straight legged jeans. They even have different lengths you can choose from; x-short, ankle, regular, and long. I just wanted to share this to all who have trouble finding jeans.

Question: Should your jeans be the same size in the waist as your waist is when you measure it with a tape measure? Because I wear size 32 jeans, but when I measure my waist with a tape measure it says 35. Should I be wearing bigger pants? Or is this a normal thing?

Hey everyone... isn't this an awesome way to talk about weight and stuff? I always feel so fat next to my friends, they're so skinny (hehe, I can admit that I'm very very very jealous!) I'm 5'7 (I'm pretty tall for my age, but I LOVE the view from up here!) and I weigh 135pounds. I have really great self confidence, expect when I'm in a changing room, and I can't fit into some really cool pants. 80% of the time I'll leave the store crying. Sucks to be me, huh? These days I'm eating less and less... not purposely, but I don't eat breakfast, lunch or snacks, Only supper. This is bad, but I can't seem to make myself eat at the times mentionned before. Even seeing my friends eat in the Caf makes me wanna barf. I'm not anorexique though(thank god!!!!!) because I always eat supper and I eat a lot on weekends(which is probably why I'm so fat now!) So yeah, that's my story.... how about writing me back about yours?Cheers,Dee.

Hi, There are some stores that have "our" sizes, with really cool clothes too. The one I go to is Cato. It has plus sies and teen clothes. It's nice, but kinda expensive. It's worth it though.

Hey everyone! My name is Jacquelyn and I post on here quite often. I was wondering if any of you knew of some stores that carry size 15/16 in pants. I know Old Navy & Gap do because I shop there a lot. I am trying to get down to a single digit. So, if you all know of any stores that carry those sizes in pants (flares/bootcuts), please let me know! Thanks :)

If you want 15/16 sizes try JcPenny's, you can order off the internet and pick up your order at the store.
