I used to be 130 pounds. I did not like how I looked. Almost every girl at my school was so thin and perfect, but I was not. I was eating 3-4 desserts a day, and getting absolutly no exersise. I finally relised that if I did not limit my self, my weight would keep going up. So I made a plan. I would eat only 2-3 desserts a week, and I would walk around the block at least once a day. It takes alot of time, but if you keep doing it, you will see you'r weigt go down. It has been a little less than a year, and I lost 30 pounds. It may not seem like much, but trust me, you can really see the difference in photos.

ya ok thats tottaly reasonable. What you have to do is eat things you like that are low in calories, such as fruit, veggies. Make your self a smoothie, there good and low in calories. Ask your mom to make healthier meals. and you need to excersize! to get serious results you need to excersize, run laps, jump on a trampoline, dance, walk, weight train, climb stairs. But do somekind of excersize! good luck sweetie! :) Keep us updated.

hi your 12 too right well i am trying 2 lose weight too over the last 2 weeks i lost 5 pounds i could tell how your feeling, i am the only one in my family that is has a serious weight problem. just try to lose weight like me i only ate healthy food like oranges and apples and every day i dance (moving my hips alot)for 1 or 2 hours.Good luck!!!

Im 10 and im 4'9. my daddy say im way 2 fat for my age and my mommy always give me food when i want it. i like to eat but the clothes i wear a week ago dont fit any more. i ask my mommy if i should lose wait but she says i shouldnt and just she says i should just like who i am. but my daddy says i eat enough food in one day that it coiuld feed 3 grownups. i cant help it i like eating and im always eating something. Mommy says dont worry you will lose it and instead feeds me more. im 10 and way 250. should i lose the wait or will it go away?

listen, u need to loose wieght but it doesn't have to be like a major issue all the time. take it slowly, first start to cut down on chocolates and stuff. dont take it all away immediatly or u will eat mor. juss take it slowly and maybe try doin sit ups because afterwards u feel great. it may take a while but i assure u, u will loose wieght.

Ht. 5'6", Today: 155 lb (BMI %tile: 85) - hey everyone, i was doing so good on my diet like a week ago i had lost 5 pounds by jogging every morning for about 40 mins and i ate 3 meals a day that were pretty healthy. but on the 5th i had to get stitches on my hip so i couldnt exercise....that really put me on a low, i cant exercise for awhile....al ive been doing is eating now im back up 5 pounds at least! im not sure im afraid to get back on the scale...i think i weigh about 155 now, im sooo depressed now! does anyone wanna be weight loss buddies? im 5'6 155lbs.....does anyone here live in new mexico? ok well thanx for listening -KK-

When I was little I was chubby. I had what people called a pot belly, it stuck out over my pants. My mom noticed this, so she put me in swim classes. Believe me, swimming is the best exercise you can do if you are aiming to lose weight. It helped me, alot! And, mom cut off all junk food in the house, she stopped buying it. And I would always go for walks! It's not as hard as it sounds. Swimming classes is just like learning how to swim. Its fun, you get to meet new people, and it helps you lose weight. And going for walks, just grab yur headset and go! It can be fun. And junkfood? Who needs it. One of my old favorite snacks used to be Celery sticks with Peanut butter spread on top, or cheez whiz! And don't grab for that second helping. One helping is enough, and if you are still hungry after the first helping, grab an apple, or just get a glass of water. Anyways, good luck with everything! Just keep in mind- you can do it! ;)

hi, your like me i have 10 pounds to go! All you need to do is excersise... try crunches (i know they suck but do them anyway!) NO JUNK FOOD! don't worry i lost 27 pounds i know what im talking about. (I'm not trying to sound cocky!) watch your sugar and carbohyderate intake! thats the most important!

this is an everyday thing i do not no if it will work or not with u everyone is differnt: breackfast: 2 pieces of toast and glass of milk lunch: pb and j sandwhich with anykind of fruit as much fruit as u want dinner: whatever u usually eat like if u eat ur whole plate then cut it in a half or a third if u are still hungrey after that then eat fruit or veggies REMEMBER TO DRINK PLENTY OF WATER AND TO EXERCISE FOR 10-40 MINS. 3 TIMES A WEEK. if that is less then u usually eat then u should lose about 2-5 pounds a week so that would mean by the time june comes around you will have lost somewhere between 26 and 65 pounds it all depends on how fast or slow ur matabolism is. love ya lili p.s. hope u see some results soon!!!

drink alot of water and exercise for 10 - 40 minutes every day start slow and work ur way up. cut what ever u usually eat in half or even a trid will help.YOU CAN DO IT!!!!no matter what happens do not drink alot of cokes or any kind of sports drinks just drink water or tea.I LOVE TEA!try not to go out to eat alot and eat plenty of fruits and veggies ask your mom or dad to buy more protine and fiber foods and get alot of low fat stuff at the store. what you can do is go to a gym and work out with some friends.or go to a dietician just in case you do not know what a dietician it is a person who helps you lose weight by giving you some papers on what to eat and stuff like that I my self is going to one soon because I weigh 179 Ilb I am losing kinda by riding my bike and jogging around my trailer park.for snacks I eat frut or veggies . every once in a wile I have a cany bar.if you have a scale you can weigh your self every week for example I weigh my self every Saturday.I do not worry about what other people say I just enore them well got to go by

O my gosh ppl!A few days ago I went to McDonalds, Don't Ever Go There in Your Life Time!! I went to there website to see how many calories I ate, I had a Big'n'Tastey (without cheese), Value Meal- The Burger Alone was 540 calories, and the regular medium Fries were 450, and instead of a regular diet coke, I got a Medium chocolate milkshake, It was 580. Talk About dieing before your 30, I suggest not going there, The total of what I thought was a smaller meal(Think If Your Ussually got supersized fries- 610 calories) The total of what I had was 1570 calories!! Outrageous!! I'm Never eating there again. According to the Nutrition Facts all the food really is, is Sodium, and Fat, Yes FAT, exactly what all of us here are trying to get rid of! I hope this Makes you think twice before you even pull into the parkinglot. Lord knows i'm never going there again. Talk to you all later bye! (p.s.- Think twice)

When you guys say "diet" how long do you plan to stay on it? A couple of weeks? A year? Untill you loose enough weight? Then you easily go back to the way you were before, eating a lot. After you've finished your diet you always end up gaining all the weight again. If any of you are serious about loosing weight, dieting is not the answer. Loosing weight or being healthy is a life changing process! You have to be prepared to change your life for the better. TRAIN yourself to eat healthier and actually excersize at least 3-4 times a week. Its more efficient if you do this slowly and surely. You want to make yourself look good for a life time, not for a month and then gain it all back again. When you have a craving for food or for 2nd helpings remember that food is the reason your changing your life and try to resist temtation. The more you become accustomed to healthy foods, the more you like the taste of them! Remember you can try every diet in the book and still not be able to shed the pounds, or just gain them all back after you go off the diet. But when you change your life to become healthier you not only look good but your happier too.

Ok, alot of people don't seem to understand the word diet. Many people make it out to be depriving yourself for a month or so then goin bak to ur old habits... WRONG. It isn't about depriving yourself its about eating healthier even if you have some candy or chips once in a while. It's a lifestyle change. It has to be something you know you can live with permenantly.

Ht. 5'3", Today: 126 lb (BMI %tile: 77), Goal: 106 lb - I need to lose 20 pounds so my belly isnt that huge. I am 5'3 and 126. That may not sound like alot but believe me I am a giant and look like i hae a beer belly! any ideas? hey whatsup i was almost the same as u last yr...i was 5"3 and 133 pounds. It took my about 3 months to go down to 112. You need to go shopping with ur parents and stock up on all fat free or low fat foods. Go running. You really have to believe in urself. If you want to eat somnething fattening look in the mirror and ask yourself "Do I want to be fat?" Weight yourself every sunday. Good luck
