To my suprise I can fit into clothes that are one or two sizes too small (YaY) It was weird cuz i didnt think about losong weight or exersizeing the whole time. I don't know how much i lost, if any. The Friday, Saterday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and Wensday before Thanksgiving I only ate fruits and vegitables well because thats all we had. And on Thursday, Friday, Saterday, and Sunday I ate sweet potatoes, fruit, and bread. Then the days from then to now I have been walking about 5 miles home from school on weekdays and on weekends I clean, play with my pets outside, walk, and do some thing that gets so much of my attention that I don't think about food. I have been eating fruit salads for breakfast and lunch and then have a bowl of beef stew ( i eat like one cup of stew)with lots of vegitables in it and one piece of pumpernickle rye bread tosted with no butter for dinner with no dessert... well i thought i only lost 15lbs but i looked at my physical from last year and it said i weighed 163 and now im 135-140 well i eat fruit salads or salads for lunch and i drink water (alot of water) and for dinner i eat whatever my mom makes but in a smaller portion. o and i do feildhockey so thats my xcercise i hope i helped

For your junk food prob, try putting the food into baggies, a small serving per bag. Each day tell yourself you can have 1 or 2 bags and if you eat more than your supposed to, skip one tomorrow. Then try and get some exercise, take a walk, do an exercise tape ex... For your meals, ask your mom ( if she makes them ) to give you a smaller serving. Eat only when you are hungry, and try not to stuff yourself. Good luck!

This was ( still is ) my plan, I am 5'3'' and 106.5 lbs. Eat only when you are hungry, and if thats hard, cut what you would normally eat in half, or ask your mom ( if she makes the meals ) to give you a smaller serving. Drink lots of water, and take a walk or do some sort of exercise every day. I do Tae Bo 3 times a week, and try and take a walk every day. Also, let your self have some sweets, but only one thing a day, or a small handful or jelly beans or small loose candy. If you are having a hard time with cravings, just eat a tiny bit of what you crave. Also, freeze fruit, its a good, healthy snack.

I have a few suggestions u probably heard them before though. Drink lots of water, eat healthier (veggies, fruits), Exercise (even if it's just for 10 min.) u can eventually add more time. cut your food intake in half. For example, if u eat 2 slices of pizza only eat one and leave the other slice for later. & Don't Give up! u can do it. if u want to talk some more my e-mail is LizLuvsJosh89@cs.com

HEY!! if you think it is impossible to loose weight! your wrong! i was 143 when i was 9 and nowi am 11 and 103 so you can do it just drink a lot of water and don't eat junk food!!!

I know a great way to loose those extra pounds. First set a goal, you may have read this alot but this is VERY important. Second, you stop eating greasy foods and pop. Instead try carrots and light dip. One of the most important steps is exercise. You CANNOT loose wait by just dieting. Try 10 situps 3 times a day to start then start doing more gradually, so you don't strain yourself. Go for a 30 minute walk a day, if you have a dog then you could take him/her along. For those of you who just cannot stop craving food (like me) I have some great tips, try strong toothpaste. None of that kiddy stuff. I use arm and hammer. Strong mouthwash help aslo. Gum works for some but not all people, so stick with mouthwash. Whenever you think 'What's the point of this? Its going to take forever and I don't think it will work' just take a look at yourself and think of being skinnier. NEVER NEVER !!NEVER!! starve yourself! Good Luck and remember, you are doing this for yourself ONLY for yourself!

Hi,
my name is brittany and i am from new york.
one thing you can try to do is try to cut down on the fatty foods. ( cake,chips,candy,soda, ext.) and try to eat foods with Low Fat or Fat Free on the lable. drink ice cold water with a lemon slice squeezed and dropped in it instead of soda and juices. Try to sign up in gym afterschool activities and take walks in the park or down a sidewalk everyday for 30-35 minutes. Remember that it takes around 10 minutes of non-stop exercise for your heart to pump at an arobic rate. Keep trying and go to the library for additional books on losing weight. GOOD LUCK!

Join sports, I joined swim team and that helped me a lot...Also, don't eat when you're watching T.V... you never know how much your eating. Also, shut off the T.V. and go outside and play, I walk to school and home again and that is good exercise too. Don't eat too many sweets. My mom told me that when I want to eat a snack I should brush my teeth first because sometimes the icky taste in my mouth is the only thing making me want to put a better taste in my mouth...plus its good for my teeth (brush your tongue too). James, There are a few tricks you can use to lose what you want and if you stick with them, you won't ever gain the weight back.
Keep a bottle of ICE water with you and drink all the time, especially when you want to munch. Chew sugarless gum. It tricks your mind into thinking it's eating but your not actually putting anything in there. And the last two are to chew your food slowly. It tricks your stomach into thinking it's full, seriously... it works and do something EVERYDAY. Walk your dog or your neighbors dog, go for a walk around the block, jumping jacks, scooter.. anything that will get your heart pumping for at least a 1/2 an hour. And no more than 1/2 an hour, not at first. If you do these 4 little tricks everyday, along with cutting your portions by half, like this site says, it will come off and maybe easier than you think.

Hey,I was almost the same like you.But when joined sports like at school really worked alot.You can also eat what you are used to but always eat the half of it.For example If you are to eat a hambuger only eat half.Also try to eat lots of fruit and veggies,especially alot of water, at least three glasses a day .Hope my advice helps you like it helped me.Good luck :)
