Hey, its great that you are excercising and stuff, but 1,000 calories is too low. Try bumping it up a bit.

Imi
Of course I don't like dieting but I want to be healthy and look good and right now that is more important to me then eating Mcdonalds every day. You know what I ate today for supper - sweet & sour chicken (low fat but delicious) followed by a chocolate eclair (again, low fat). You don't have to give up all the food you love, just eat lower fat versions. You say you may die at 70 and not 73. I think you are way off base here. People die of heart disease in their 30s and 40s. I feel physically better since I lost weight. I can wear whatever clothes I want and not be embarrassed and have to go several sizes higher. You say I sound like your mum, well maybe your parents should counsel you and let you know what a dangerous way you are going if you carry on like this. It really is dumb.

Imi,
I hear what you are saying about it not affecting your life at the moment. I also know plenty of bigger people who are fit but I am just saying that you also have to think of the future and problems you will have later on. Obesity often is very serious as you do get older. I know it is hard to think of that now and when you are young but you really don't want to be ill later do you? Of course you have the freedom to do what you want to do. All I am saying is get the right information to hand on what could happen later on and then make your choice. It is kind of like a gamble but the odds of getting ill later are very, very high.

Look, you have to bring that weight down! I'm happy you have confidence and lots of friends BUT being too overweight can cause serious diseases like diabetes! I am concerned for your safety and I hope that you can realize the consequences of obesity before it is too late.

Not good to be so overweight. You are heading for very big health problems when you are older. You want a heart attack, not being able to walk properly, being out of breath, you go ahead then but you will regret it later. At some point way in the future you may have kids and a partner. You want to see your kids grow up and you want to be around then? You are getting into bad eating habits very young. Very, very dangerous.
