i am 132 pounds and my waste line is 38" , but i think i am over my supposed to be weight. over the last three years i have gained a lot of weight. i used to run all the time and do outside activities but know all i do is stay inside. i am 5'4" and i fell so tired of looking at my self in the mirror and seeing how fat i look and i'm tired of a role hanging over my pants. what can i do?

Hey well girl you weigh less then me and im younger then you...lol But what im doing right now is cutting my meals in half and not going back for seconds. I also tryed to cut back on the sweets. can eating lots of oat based sugar free cereal with raisens make you fat? i eat tons (with skim milk)and i'm scared it'll make me fatter than i am. i also love bready stuff like bagels but due to the whole carb thing i'm a bit worried. can anyone help me out????

hi my h and w are 4'10 and 175. i am trying to eat less but it looks like i am gaining weight. i don't like junk food or sweets. i eat them like once a month. but i hate water.i only drink 1 glass of water a month belive me i am not lieing but now i have to drink pills so i drink about 2 glasses a day and iam liking it more.i don't exercise at all so please help me. I don't like any kind of pie so if my mom wants something sweet she will buy pie so that is good.i really want to loose about 35 pounds in 4 months.here are my questions:is that possible?what dieting tips have worked for u? and what can you give me tips on loosing weight fast?.i hope you can help me out i would really apreciate it. and remember those who died on september 11th please. thanks

This is my plan. Eat only when you are hungry, and if thats hard, cut what you would normally eat in half, or ask your mom ( if she makes the meals ) to give you a smaller serving. Drink lots of water, and take a walk or do some sort of exercise every day. I do Tae Bo 3 times a week, and try and take a walk every day. Also, let your self have some sweets, but only one thing a day, or a small handful or jelly beans or small loose candy. If you are having a hard time with cravings, just eat a tiny bit of what you crave. Also, freeze fruit, its a good, healthy snack. And if you have a hard time keeping your junk food down, separate it in into little baggies and have 1 or 2 a day. Good luck!

how do i stop myself from overeating on junk food?? i've been trying to stop for a long time but i can't seem to stop. does anyone have any advice that work for them?

Get sandwich baggies and put one serving of the junk food into each baggie.Then tell yourself that you can have 1 or 2 a day. Good luck!

Hi everyone. This is my last year of school. I really would love to loose wieght. I am 4'10 and wigh 145-150 lbs. I fit into size 11-12 juniors. I would like to loose as much wieght as possible. It would be nice to wear 1-3. Got tips? I have already eaten healthy every once in a while eating more than I should. I drink water just not enough, I don't like much sweets either. I want to loose it by March or April, about 7 months. Can anyone help me please? Thax a bunch :)

Cut your food in half, and put one half back for the next meal. If thats hard, try cut 1/4 off, or 1/3. Also, speed walk or swim if you can.

Is anyone else as worried about all the christmas foods as I am? I eat stuff whenever its in front of me whether is be nuts or cookies or candy canes. I have lost 17 lbs. and really dont want to gain it back any suggestions on how to avoiding eating these tempting goodies?

Hey, all you have to do is just put a little bit of the food on your plate. Then when you are eating the food take small bites. If you're still hungry take a little bit and take small bites. This will seem like you are eating alot but you will really only be eating a normal amount of food.

Hi i'm new here i just found this site. my name is Katie and i am 9 today. yesterday we had a party with a bbq and i ate loads of stuff burgers and sausages and chips and salad and then trifle and ice cream and sara lee chocolate gateu and coke and my tummy felt soooo full it was great. i dont care how fat i get but i just loooove to eat till i'm stuffed and my tummy gets hard. i weigh 176 but i was 184 but Mom and me lost some for lent and we gave some money to poor starving kids but now its past easter we can stuff again. its real kewl.luvKatie

Even if you don't want to you should try this: Before every meal or big snack drink water until you're not really hungry.

hey everyone, i am about to turn 13. I am jewish and i am going to have a bat mitzvah, but none of the dresses fit me right! i feel like my stumache is hanging out, even tho my mom says it looks fine. Like i said, im turning 13 and i weigh 116. this may not seem like a terror to u, but lately some of the people at school make rude comments. i feel so depressed, i dont know what to do! please someone help me! i am soo upset.

Hi Faren! My name is Kate and I am 13. I have lost 6 lbs since about 2 weeks with advice from the people who replied to my notice. It is simple. Eat whatever you like but only eat half of it. For example,instead of eating a whole pizza eat half and leave the rest until the next day. Well done! I have just lost five pounds in 12 days since starting my diet and I feel great. My mum has told me that although I lost a lot at first, it will slow down but that is fine. The important thing is that my weight is going down. My secret? Eating low calorie foods, less fat, low calorie soups at 50 calories each, more water, more fruit and more exercise. My mum has trawled the supermarkets for the food that I like but low calorie. I can even eat sweet and sour chicken at 220 calories. Not a big portion but I am educating myself to eat less. I haven't even felt hungry yet. I am about 20 pounds overweight, or rather 15 pounds now and I know that I will reach my goal. I haven't even felt hungry yet.

OK, if you eat half of what you normally eat you will you will lose weight easily. You can still eat whatever you like but only eat half that amount. For example, when you buy a bar of chocolate eat half of eat and also eat as much fruit as you like and drink as much water as you like. Good Luck, Kate!!!
