okay if you want to lose the weight around your hips you cant just do sit ups and crunches because those are only working one part of your body. like..what im trying to say is that you can do 1000 situps a day and it really wouldnt make a difference because you are building muscle but you cant see the muscle because there is a layer of fat covering it..soo if you want to lose weight around the stomach area then you have to do different kinds of excersises..swimming...running...sports..but you can also do sit ups and crunches..do you get what im saying?

hey carly im leeza and when i was your age i use to be just like u but now im slimming down are u in any sports?well if you arent you should think about it it keeps you in shape and helps loose weight well carly i dont have much else to say but i hope you loose the weight you want to leeza.

Ok, ummm...you know when you're too fat too run? How do I work my slow pace walk to a steady paced run? I'm a girl, very overweight, and large-chested so it's hard for me to run right now. How much should I walk everyday?

Renee- FoWalk about 15 minutes a day until you no longer feel that is challenging you physically. Then up it to 20 minutes until *that* doesn't challenge you. Continue to walk longer & faster, and when you feel like you can, add a little jogging into it (even if it's just a few steps). You'll be a world-class runner in no time. ;) -James

Ht. 5'5" - Im 5'5,and im 13. The pool by me is open, and im afraid to wear my baithing suit because im kinda fat blubbbers on my stomach what am I suposed to do??? I TRIED TO EXCERSISE BUT IM TO LAZY TO DO IT NOW, I EAT ENOUGH VEGGIES AND FRUITS EACH DAY AND I PLAY SPORTS ABOUT TWICE A WEEK, AND STILL I DIDNT LOOSE ANY WEIGHT! You need to exercise. Healthy eating and exercise is the ONLY way to successfully and healthily lose weight. It's not that hard: swimming is even an exercise. Do something you like, like swimming or walking, every day for at least 15 minutes. Take your dog for a walk, or your little brother and sister...Exercising isn't as hard as it sounds. You'll do fine. -J

hey girl it is ok because i am 11 years old and i weigh 133 lbs at first i was 159.all i did was walk and drink water. walk for about 3hours twice a day at the nearest track center

Today: 220 lb - Hi ppl ok so I weigh almost 220 and I hate myself for getting so big I would love to lose weight but I don't have enought will power. I've tried exercizing like rideing my bike but when I got on it the wheels went flat, I've also tried walking one of those machine things I can do it for 3 days or so but after that I just stop, I did 50 sit-ups for a week that didn't work either. I have cut all my portions of food in half and I tried drinking lots of water but I hate water. I'm not fat but after school every day I take my bike and ride for 30 min (Hilly areas are best cause it takes more effort). Ht. 5'3", Today: 112 lb (BMI %tile: 60) - I am not fat, i am 112 at 5'3", but I thought I'd make a suggestion. I started taking a really cool fitness class. In the beginning, we do stretches for about 25 mins. to warm up and stretch our bods. Next, for about 50 mins, we do a heavy arobics work-out, with weights and stuff. The last part is stretching, relaxing yoga. Well, after 2 weeks, my stomach is perfectly flat, i am getting nicely toned, and I am happy with my body. I have a curvy, hourglass figure, and I will never be "bone-thin". But anyone can TONE the body that they are born with, and make it more shapely. Plus, laydeez, don't try to fit that stick-thin image. Guys HATE stick thin. They think it's disgusting. I think it goes back to instinct; the brain knows that a too-skinny body is not capable of carrying a child. A healthy, curvy body, though, can carry a healthy baby. Just exercise and eat right!!!! Hey Gurl! To lose weight eat three HEALTHY meals a day. Try not to eat between meals but if you are really hungry eat a fruit or veggie, they are very good for you. Also drink 8 glasses of water a day. Eliminate foods with lots of fat and calories from your diet. Only go out to eat once a month. Also it's extremely important to get 60 minutes of aerobic exercise every day. Jump Rope while watching your favorite TV show, Hula hoop to your favorite song, Rollerblade, Ride your bike, or anything else that helps you get your heart pumping. I hope this helps Brittany. It's important to get 1 hour of aerobic excercize each day. Here are a few fun ways to get some exercise:*Hop on one food to get the mail*Jump rope to your favorite song*Do one push up, one jumping jack, one toe touch, and one sit up. They try two of each. Then three. See how high you can go!*Time how long it takes you to run around the block. Rest 2 minutes and try again to improve your time.*ALWAYS REMEMBER BEFORE AND AFTER YOU EXCERCISE MAKE SURE TO GENTLEY STRETCH YOUR ARMS, LEGS, WAIST, AND NECK TO PREFENT INJURY!I hope this helps!
