Hey you guys in the last three weeks i lost about 15 pounds u kno how? I got a black marker and scriible the word fat all over my arms and legs. so when i went to the refridgerator when i wasnt suppossed to be eating, there it was my arm chunky that said fat on it.Actually i didnt lose that much weight but it helped me stop eating so much/

hehe My aunt taped a picture of herself in a bikini on the fridge to lose weight!! It worked, too. She'd see it and would eat healthy. Maybe I'll try that...

Hey everyone I just wanted to say hi an that I think this website is the best thing ever. I never could stick to a healthy eating plan before I came here an met other girls just like me who want to lose weight. I am so proud of myself because I actually turned down mcdonalds. I couldnt believe I had the willpower. It made me so happy and think "Okay I can do this. I can eat healthy and resist temptation of all the junk foods." So I just wanna say thank you to the people Ive met on this and to everyone else on this site and I want to say congrats to all the people from here that have decided to make a lifestyle change that they will be very happy with.

hey joseph. i know what it feels like to be teased and made fun of.. because 2 years ago i used to weigh around 300 pounds. it sucked. one day i just looked at myself and said " this is not me" but because i was way to fat to like move around enough to lose weight, i just eat better foods and started walking around my house everyday. in about a month, i had lost 10 lbs. i felt so happy. and in losing those 10 lbs, i could start doing work out videos because i could actually move better and i went on a vegetarian diet. i am now 14 and i weigh 140 pounds and i am 5'7. i hope this story will inspire you to lose weight. if you need any suggestions, email me... gogirlem50@hotmail.com

hey...you can honestly do it. I just ask myself questions like, am i really hungry? is it worth the lbs i'll gain? etc...plus a good inspiring quote is "nothing tastes as good as it does to be thin."

I need help. I'm desperate. Ive gorged at to so many fast food places in the past week and just realized all the weight i gained. Im over 250 lbs. Ive gotton so much bigger. Im ballooning up enormously. My already big stomach, thighs and love handles have been growing huge and out of control. I eat whenerver i feel like it and even when im full. I get tired whenever i get up. I need to no how to kick the bad eating habits. PLEASE HELP!

Ht. 5'7", Start: 130 lb, Today: 106 lb (BMI %tile: 9) - hia i'm 13 n wen i used to be 130 pounds when i was 5 foot 3 i really didn't like it n id always luk in magazines n wana b like them, i always wantd to b a magazine model. Anyway 1 day i got really tired of bein fat n i just stopped eatin snacks like crisps chocolate n sweets n vrytime i really wanted them n wanted to giv up i lukd at my magazines n i ate a piece of fruit or something. i also statd walkn the dog once a day around the block, then i started runnin n doin xtra activities afta school n at lunch. It really workd n i am now 5 foot 7 and weigh 106 pounds n best of all i hav an agent nd am doin sum magazine shoots. just remember vry1 is a different shape n if u cnt be happy with that then yes exercise n diet will work but thats only if u want it there is nothin wrong with not bein stick thin, just be healthy and be happy for that.

Every summer i go to an island with a bunch of family freinds and family n each year i feel like i am the fattest out of all of them and i really want to feel more confident this summer n accually loose weight and also impress people. Start: 180 lb, Today: 170 lb - Hey this is kinda of a success story. I just got off of the bad habit of being an over-eater. I used be this thing called a gainer. It was kinda wierd, but I loved food sooo much, that I decided to gain wieght on purpose. I know it sounds wierd, but I was just really confused. I gained alot of weight. My pant buttons used to pop off all of the time, but I just kept on eating. I would drink soda by the Liters. I would drink 2 or 3 cans of soda in about a minute! I was unstoppable! I was about 180 pounds. I totally turned my life around about a week ago. I stopped drinking soda(if I go out to eat, I get a small or medium soda, but no refills), and I only eat when I am hungry(only about 2 times a day). When I was a gainer I was encouraged to eat, so that habit was kinda hard to brake. Like today I walked by a GIANT cake, and the "old" me would of cut a pice and grabbed it with... Ive found if thats what you really want to do than that should be enough motivation for you. If your finding that its not maybe thats not what you truly want to do? I recently decided to start losing because I want to be a helicopter pilot in the Army, im supposed to be 190 pounds according to my height to be in the army, and ive found that to be lots of motivation. Im still not excersising or eating the best, but its better and i can garuntee you none of my friends would have ever thought id be buying water at lunch instead of soda (I have been, and i was a real soda junkie.) I havnt had a non-diet soda in over a week. And better yet, only one of those was diet, the rest were diet and caffine free. But yea enough about me. Anyway, try to find a different hobby that involves physical activity, there are dance clubs around that go on year round that im sure you could find one you like!

Ht. 5'8", Start: 185 lb, Today: 148 lb (BMI %tile: 74), Goal: 135 lb - I am sooo happy i just thought i'd share my success here. i've gone from 185 to to about 148-150 pounds. Now I am really cracking down to reach my goal of 135 (for now.) And i went from a size 14 to an 8-10 depending. By the way, I'm 5'8". Well I got together with my friend over the summer when we decided to lose weight together. We had this whole meeting to work out plan that lasted for a little while but we haven't been so good about it lately :P. Umm but basically I cut down my calories by a lot. Calories are like the key to losing weight. You can have a lot of low cal foods, more than higher cal, i do a lot of research on the calories in foods and serving sizes. And I also wrote down all the reasons that I wanted to diet/exercise which kept my reasons in mind. Basically I was just so sick of gaining weight i really wanted to do something about it, so I did!
