I know chewing gum can't solve all my problems, but we all have different ways of trying to lose wieght. You've probably heard this a thousand times, but u gotta excercise and eat right, excercise for at least 30 min a day, walking, arobics, whatever -u- want to do, the eating right part-will make an Incredible difference, ive lost like 5 pounds so far w/ eating right and occasional excercise. Whats been hard for me is the eating right, not the excercise. I quit sodas completely. I read in an article if you do that you'll definetly lose 25lbs within a year. I started drinking just water, juice and milk, and no junk food. No fried or fast foods, no candies (chocolate-thats been the hardest), cut down on the meats and not snacking in between meals, thats what gets u, i know sometimes when im full i just want to keeping eating but i stop and drink water to curb my appetite instead. hoped i could help.

hey i also weight 130 and i also want to lose some weight i sugest doing losts of exersizes and drinking water in stead of soda and stuff like that and no fast food. i use to weight 140 and its working for me.

Hi, Um.......I was wondering if anyone could help me.I am female and 15 years old.I weigh 213 pounds and have a height of 5'8.I am overweight.I have started to walk home from school every day so that gives me 15 minutes of exercise right there, but my real problem is my eating too much.I have always big fat as far back as I can remember.I wore a size fourteen jeans in the 6th grade.I am now a size 22,I have a shoe size of twelve, and wear a x-large shirt with a large body frame.I don't know what's wrong with me because I'll try to eat less and then later I will eat a lot.Just earlier I ate some candy corn with vanilla icing for a snack.It just makes me want to hate myself when I think about it, and when I have Dominos pizza for supper like once a week I'll have 3 or 4 pieces of pepperoni&cheese pizza.When I eat supper I'll have like 2 servings of each thing and a glass or two of sweetened tea.I guess I'm not eating the food because its good for me.I guess I have an inner problem but I don't know what it is.Being fat makes me angry and makes me feel that I'm not in control of myself and I can't keep myself from getting more fat.Anyone who wants to talk or has suggestions email me. crazygirl300037091@yahoo.com Thanks..

hey, I WAS ONLY IN 8THGRADE AND 144 I FELT SOOO FAT WELL WHAT I DID IS I WENT OUT FOR SPORTS LIKE CHEERLEADING, FEILD HOKEY,VOLLEYBALL AND,BBALL WELL SUPRISINGLY I MADE THE TEAM IN ALL OF THEM, THIS AND ATCHING WHAT I ATE GOT ME DOWN TO 119 AND I AM NOW A FRESHMAN IN HIGHSCHOOL AND GUESS WHAT THE WEIGHTS STILL OFF!!( I'M STILL DOING ALL THE SPORTS AND WATCHING WHAT I EAT THO!!)GOOD LUCK

I am 15 also... I weigh about 150 and I am 5'5. I find myself constantly eating also... and then I look in the mirror and ask myself why I did that, I wasn't hungary. My best advice would be to know that you are a beautiful person and that you are loved! You can join a dance group, or go to a close park and shoot some hoops... that is one of my hobbies. But you could just go for a walk, or babysit some kids who like to play outside. That would keep you from not eating and get you out to play and get a little exercise. You also have to TELL yourself that you don't want those chips in the cubboard and that you ARE STRONG... I write little Abbreviations on my hands that remind me that I am strong... like y.a.b. or y.d.n.t- YOU ARE BEAUTIFUl and YOU DON'T NEED THAT! Hi,i'm Alina, and I have been overweight all my life. I suffered a two year bout with Bulimia, and coming out of treatment, I realize the importance of a healthy diet to help lose excess pounds. I am 30 pounds overweight, and I'm ashamed of my belly rolls of fat, and disgusted by my pigging out. I really need a diet buddy for support.Any takers?

Hi! I ran across your message! Well, I am going to say that I am about 70 pounds overweight and it is hard for me too. When people see me running up the stairs at school, I can hear them laughing and pointing. I have tried so much to lose weight, but I just can't stop eating. It is a habit, but I am not at bad as before. I just need more control and hopefully I can lose some more weight and be more healthier. I know you can do it! My tip is to work out as much as you can. How about walking to school every morning. I do that and I received a compliment saying that I looked trimmer. :) Also, move your legs while watching TV or doing something sitting down. I always do that. If you buy lunch at McDonalds, try to get a small fries or small burger compared to Large one. It really makes a difference! All in all, try your best and you can do it!

The first thing matt is that u can't think of it being a diet you have to think of it as a life adjustment b/c u can't lose the weight and then go back to junk food. Also, excercise, and just a tip weight training is what actually speeds your metabolism but u should still do aerobic excercises like walking too

hi im 5foot 4 inches and about 222puonds i would really like to lose weight before school starts. ive tried pretty much everything and nothing doesnt seem to help im not sure what to do. all i know is that im so tired of being over weight. ive been over weight all my life. i hate going to school becouse of the mean things people always say. the hardiest part is that i just moved and when i first started this school im at some people asked if i was pregnant becouse im fat it hurts alot i always find myself crying at night please help.

Hey I just wanted to give you a little of advice. Drink a bunch of water everyday. Lay off all the sweet food and try and eat 3 healthy meals a day. Drinks lots of water and go out for a short walk and each week take longer walks and drinks lots of water and look at yourself and be happy with who you are and dont everytime you get mad go and eat. I am overweight and I want to lose weight too but you cant lose unless you try! If you would like to cut down on candy which will help you lose weight I was told to brush my teeth everytime I had a craving to eat candy. Also you can cut down on how much you eat. Eat a golf ball and a half of food or a little more. I havent tried these yet because I was just told these yesterday but it could help. Try really hard and you will succeed!! :)

Hello everyone. I guess I'm not saying anything new; almost every girl feels fat at one time or another. I'm 4'11 and three quarters (almost five feet!) and I fluctucate from 115-122 lbs. And no, I'm not overweight, I'm healthy for my age and height. I try to get some form of exercize every other day, and I eat healthful things. But when my parents leave me home alone, I start pigging out on everything! Can someone please help me to stop this before it becomes a real problem, and maybe give me some tips on losing 5 or 10 lbs.?

hey i have the exact same problem. im like 4'10 or 11 and i weight about 125 pounds. whenim at schoolim fineunless i have money wiht me) but like now my mom is asleep and i just ate like a million calories. but lately i have been drinking water.
