Hi! okay well here goes im 5'8" and i weigh 144 ... im a size 9 in (juniors) pants and i hate it!!!! None of my friends think im fat (or skinny for that matter) and a lot of them wear like either size 11 or 5 or 3 ... my best friends are the ones that wear sizes 3-5 and when we were lil they wud wear like size 0 ... and anyways whenever i go over or something we always wanna switch outfits but i can never fit in their pants and they always float in mine... my best friend is 5'8" and she only weighs 127... i was down to 138 for awhile but with summer here its hard to keep my weight down ... andill admit i do get lazy... so please help me guys!!! i need motivation and i need to put off the weight for junior year (my prom lol)... thanks!!!

try to change ur eating habit. like eat more fruit anf veggies, less fatty food. the eating habit has to be long-term one. meaning u haveto be able to eat like that forever, cuz if u go on crash diet and eat really small amount of food or only fruit and veggies for example, and when u lose weight and go back to ur old eating habit, u will gain weight back. so start slowly.

I heard that a slim fast helps you lose weight with excersize and all but I also heard that once you get off it you gain back all the weight real quick... Is that true?

If you go back to your old diet..... yes, That does not mean you will have to live on slim fast forever, but after you lose your weight, Change Your Diet into a more healthier one or eat less than you used to.

You gain it back if you go back on your old diet, you have to change on your old diet by just eating less and eat healthier (like a normal person)

One of my family members used it for awhile, they didn't really help her, and plus it made you go to the bathroom a lot more and it can get costly! And as the other yound lady said, you'd have to be on it fo rthe rest of your life probably!

been there done that. Ya it works great! I lost like 6 lbs. in 2 weeks but as soon as u stop drinking them (even if u eat heatlhy instead) you gain that weight plus more right back. So it works but I don't recommend it unless u drink them for the rest of ur life.

Hi...when i was in 8th grade I always saw my mom exercising...and i thought that looked fun..so i did it..turns out i lose a size or 2 and about 15 lbs in 6 weeks..i was so proud of myself...but now im so lazy than ever..and its been kind of bad for me..becuz prom is coming up...my bf's..and its really depressed when ur in highschool and u feel fat and look it...and then u have to go to prom w/ ur bf..and feel fat...so ive decided to go ahead and starve myself...lol my only way out..and to exercise tae bo everyday...and then in the summer..ill eat some meals and go to bike rides..ill tell ya how i do : ) my email is natsacoolcat15@aol.com if u wanna email me and discuss anythin..here to help : ) byebye!

dude don't starve yourself it won't do any good. why don't you stuff you fridge with fruits and then when you get hungry eat a couple fruits i did it for a bout a month and i danced to shakira everyday for about 30 min. and i lost about 10-12 lbs. in a month please don't starve yourself i tried it it made me realy sick

Hi,I’m 13 yrs old and 4’11 and 145lbs and size 11 pantz.I’ve started this diet today- Breakfast- slimfast(if im desperate) or a banana or some grapes Lunch-a salad with fat free dressing or some carrot stix and grapes Dinner-soup or a healthy choice frozen dinner Snack-none,but if i must carrots or grapes Water-8 glasses or more Excersise-20+minutes on an indoor bike,5-10 mins jump roping,150+crunches,150+butt crunches,50 squats,and a 20 minute brisk walk w/ my dog. If I keep this up for until New Years without messing up at all,do you think i could get down to 125 and a size 9 pants or lower? if not,what can i add? I was thinking about using metabolife because i have some,if i used those would i lose the weight? I know its not safe to lose that much weigh so quickly,and i know i’ll gain it back,but i wanna look good on new years cuz i’ll prolly be swimmin’...sooo plez help me!

Metabolife is bad news, especially for someone as young as you, if you read the fine print or general advertisement, metabolife is only for 18 and up, there's a reason for that, because any younger it can screw up how u grow, because you still have a lot of developing to do, stick to what u have planned, sounds good, please NOT metabolife.

Everyone hates excercising, but its something your gonna have to do in order to lose wieght, also eating healthy. Don't fall for those "lose wieght quick" schemes, because i guarentee everyone of them is a lie. All they do is make you lose water wieght which is -extremely- unhealthy, and your muscles could start to wear away. Excercising and healthy eatings the way to go.

Please don’t go in this diet. You will regret it. One of my friends went on it. And she regretted it cause it caused a lot of damages to her. It even happened to me cause I tried it but it didn’t last for long. I got sick of it and after that, I started putting on double times my weight. You see, it is proven that it decreases you’re metabolism I am now on an all-new healthy diet. And it’s much better. Some people can’t stick to it cause they don’t get organized. All you need is a little self-discipline and then anything is possible. Try exercising three times a week and set an eating timetable for yourself.

i am from asia... and we dont have slimfast here, thats so sad cause the mixture-drink diets we have here are really expensive.. a 21 meal package costs around 50$ while i heard a 21 meal slimfast cost only 15$.. is there anyone willing to send a package to me? i can pay you or i can send some produsts we have here taht you dont have there.

Carbs don't make you fat! in fact, they should make up a good portion of your diet everyday. the reason for people thinking that carbs make you fat is that if you eat more calories from carbohydrates than you can burn off, the rest is stored as energy (aka fat) for later. NEVER remove carbs from your diet. those high protein diets are unhealthy and short term.

You need carbohydrates for energy. I went to a place where they encouraged healthy eating, and they said you need to have at the most 5 servings of carbs a day, and each serving is 22 grams. you need good carbs, found in whole wheats and grains, not bad processed carbs such as candy, chips, etc. just lettin ya know! :)

I don't think a no-carb diet would work well for a young person. True, you may lose weight soon, but I've read that after you're off the diet and begin to eat the carbs again, the weight will come right back. Also, you may be so excited to eat them again that you'll overdo it and possibly gain more than you lost. Low-fat carbohydrates is the way to go, and watch what you put on them. Bread and potatoes are wonderful for your body, but if you put butter and sour cream on them, then you have trouble.

Hi! I know you really want to lose weight fast, everybody does. Its not what you want to hear but I think you should take it slowly. There are thousands of diets that claim fast weight loss but I can guarantee that the majority are useless. I suggest a healthier lifestyle and exercise. The chances are that if you do go on a diet that promises fast weight loss, even if it is effective, as soon as you go of it you will regain the weight plus more. The only wayweight will stay off is through a healthy lifestyle.

Just to let you know, there is no magical weight loss formula. I've tried the gum, diet supressers (?), and pills, and trust me...nothing works. It only gets rid of the water weight, which you will eventually get back. You should just try to make room for at least 20 minutes of exercising per day. Or maybe jump roping for 5 minutes...
