Hey! I would say that the first step you have to take to lose weight is to believe you can and dont expect to lose weight really soon it takes work! I usually run, ride a bike, or do a girl on the T.V. called Denise Austin. Don't give up your trying.A tip i could possibly give you is trying a weight loss program. I worked WONDERS for me. ITs really build your self esteem when you loose weight. Exercise and eat healthy and you'll don fine!

hey reggie, as we all know we must exercise everyday at least 20 minutes so our body could release toxins that are not good for us and elle woods was right when she said that exercise releases endorphins that makes us happy so while we are all in our exercise and diet routine we all feel less stressed so we dont worry bout those people who tells us we are fat we just know the fact that we are losing weight and no body can stop us to reach our goal and do our best!!! Ht. 5'9", Today: 330 lb (BMI %tile: 98) - I just wanted to say that you guys need to accept who you are before you do anything. Im 5'9 and 330 pounds and I know its bad for me but honestly im able to ignore peoples comments and im only trying to lose because I know its bad for me. But the first step to weight loss is accepting you who are and getting over other peopels comments. You will find it much easier to lose weight if you can ignore poepls mean comments.

alright, it didnt post the last time i wrote this... so i'm gonna try again (and if this is posting twice i'm sorry!!!!!) don't feel down on yourself! you're a beautiful person, inside and out. always remember that. and if you're like me and when you're depressed you just eat and eat and you're still hungry afterwords then eat something like air popped popcorn without butter or crushed ice (yeah, i'm a freak who eats crushed ice...). and if you feel even more depressed afterwords cause you just ate so much, then put your favorite cd into your cdman, and go out for a walk until you're all sweaty and nasty. then go home and take a shower. trust me i'm not crazy, it really works. when you get outta the shower you'll feel so good about yourself and relaxed cause you'll feel like you just burned off all those calories, and on top of that you're clean. and theres nothing quite like that... I am almost 14 and I hate how I look. I weigh like 165 and am 5'5. I really want to lose the fat! Every time i weigh myself, i just keep getting heavier and heavier! Some people even make fun of me at school and i hate it. I know I should go to a doctor and ask for some kind of diet but I'm not very close with my step-mom or my dad and I can't ask them to take me cause they'll go into this big talk and i hate those! You know? Spring Break is coming up and im going to an N'sync concert. i really want to look good. Also, this summer, i'm going on vacation with my friend. She is really skinney and makes me look even bigger! i hate going around in a bathing suit, looking like this. My goal is to reach 120. I know it will be a lot of work but if anyone has any advice, please respond to this. Thank you so much. I need this.. and for the rest of you, good luck! :o)

hey, whats up, im going to an Nsync concert too!! on March 19, i use that as incentive to lose wieght too. Im guessing your still in middle school. Im 5'5, and used to wiegh the same as you, now i weigh 138, and my goal is 120 too, but you can't use that as your overall goal to get started. Start with "i wanna lose just 5 pounds." i started to doing that, and have lost almost 15 pounds now, set small goals at a time, it really works. Believe me start small. My diet is no cokes, no juice, just water. No junk food:no pizza, chips, mayonaisse, white bread, dressing, cookies, candy, heavy meats, no cheese. I cut out all the junk food and i lost 5 pounds easily just from that, looking at the labels and reading the fat count, really helps. I started excercising 6 days a week too, I do kickboxing 3 days a week, and cycling, and step machines the other days, and there HAS to be at least one day... I remember when i was 14 i really really wanted to lose weight, but i never did anything serious about it till i was 15. When i was 13-14, puberty really started to set in and i just dropped 10 pounds, outa nowhere, thats because everybody's body chemistry is different, and who knows it might happen w/ you. I had this cousin who was incredibly fat, then he turned 14, puberty hit, and he's a stick. Stick with healthy eating, and daily excercise and i guarantee you'll see results. But you can't see results fast, i know ive wanted to give up plenty of times, but after a while of being consistent, key word-consistent-, youll be at the wieght you want to be. Don't let what others say infulence the way you feel about your body.Forget them. If you hate your body now, i also garentee that you WON'T lose ANY weight, because it starts from inside, you have to learn how to love yourself and your body the way it is, and be happy with it, and then want to change your eating and excercise habits to be - healthy. A group of women in a study with a positive body image started like that, and dropped 10 pounds easy too. Love and care for whats inside first, or else you won't get anywhere. lots of luck to you. When I gained weight two years ago, and was starting puberty, I had no interest or worries with my weight. then suddenly I realised I was large; my friends were thinner than me and as time went by I isolated myself from my frineds so they wouldnt see me eat. i lost confidence, and power to communicate with others. I became more moody and bad tempered. there were days when i would hate the world an myself. I felt alone and miserable. sometimes i would bing uncontrolably and other days i would starve myself. All this chaos has lead me to not only an instability towards but also emotional instability and insecurity with myself and family. o my god girl, ive felt -exactly- the same way, some days i binge, others nothig at all. Those highs and lows, the emotional and physical aspect of things, its hard. I took me awhile to get outa the funk i was in, but i new i had to get back in there, an get my self confidence back, new friends, and loving myself enough to wanna be healthier and lose the weight for myself. I wiegh 145 lbs and im 5'5', even though it doesn't sound like a big deal, i look huge, with fat everywhere. Im sick of being depressed about my wieght and not being proud of my body. I see georgeous girls with flat stomachs and perfectly shaped bodies, and i feel worse wishing i could look like that. Im trying to change that, i guarantee that no one, absolutely no one, will lose wieght if they don't work in the inside first, and how they feel about themselves, and how they act. My goal is to wieght 125 lbs. I think the wrong thing that any of you could think is that its about how you look, to much attention is being payed to looks, and thats not whats important. You should like yourself and love yourself first, and want to lose wieght to be more healthy or just to become a better person than you already are...good luck girls, i rooting with ya, hope to reach my goals!

Hey, this is the first time I ever visited this website. I think it's great, and now I don't feel alone anymore. I am 6'3" and weigh 205 pounds. I hate it when everyone else is able to eat, and I am the one that has to suffer. I first realized how bad it feels to be fat when I asked this girl out on a date and she told me that I need to loose some weight first. I felt horrable and I started to hate my self. I could never go swimming or do anything without thinking about peoples opinions about me. But now after visiting this website I don't feel the same. I really would like to loose about 30 pounds and look great before I go back to school. Not only to show that girl what she turned down, but also to feel good about myself. If anybody has any good tips for looseing weight fast, please send me an email.

Ok, this is a post about committment. I am currently overweight, and I have started to endure in cardiorepiratory work outs...but the problem is, how do I stay on task? I tend to slack off because I get discouraged. I have a very low metabolism, so I lose weight VERY slowly, and it's hard...I am currently in a size 16-18, and I guess my first goal is to get down to a 13...then work from there. I don't need tips on how to diet or exercise but of commitment and dedication. I would appreciate all the help I can get. Thanks a bunch! :)

hey hun. losten i no how difficult it is to stay on task..i don't have it to an exact science yet however i no that if u have somebody who u wanna loose weight for it works. i i had a huge crush on this guy, at first i lost weight for him. i thought about him whenerv i wanted to go eat that twinkie or when i didn't wanna exercise. but eventually after thinking of him and him treating me like a friend i grew more confident. so i gues hwat im trying to say is fin dsomething taht make u feel confident and u will be able to do anything

I am 5'6'' and 152 lbs. I have a stomach msotly and I wear tight clothes that show my stomache. At first before two years ago I was ashamed. I now realize that that its a'' about self confidence and the way you carry yourself. In elementary school I was always teased but WHEN I WAS IN MIDDLE SCHOOL IT STARTED TO STOP. Thats when I started to gain confidence. Since then I have slimmed a little but my stomache is still there. My friends and people at my school started respecting me for all of my self confidence. All in all be confident in yourself and know in god's eyes you are beautiful and people around you will also see the beauty
