a good one is to lay on ur back and slowley drop ur legs and focus on using your abs to control ur legs, that should help ur belly. also if ur lay on ur belly and lift your self up like a push up, but rest w/ ur forams flat on the floor, and hold it for about a min or more, that should work your whole stomach, including ur back and arms, and it'll get your stomach flatter

I lost 28 pounds by doing heavy running. Sprints, mile jogs, walk to places instead of driving...those help you lose weight. Not eating garbage helps too and join a few sports teams.

Ht. 5'9", Today: 195 lb (BMI %tile: 93) - I have a question. Do you HAVE to do strength training exercise to lose weight? Do I have to join a gym and do weights? Cause I lost weight before by jogging which I love doing and still do, but I hear alot about you have to do strength training. I would like to do it but later when I'm nearly at my goal weight, and all the fat is gone and I'll actually be able to see the muscles building. Does anyone have some experience with this? I am 5'9 about 195lbs.

Yes, you should do strenth training. But you don't have to go to a gym to do so. Just buy some free weights and do exercises at home. Weight lifting really revs your metabolism and keeps it higher much longer after your work out than aerobic excerise. But also do your workouts you're doing now. You don't even have to weight lift very often. Try about twice a week. You can do it!!! God bless you!!!

Start: 210 lb, Today: 200 lb, Goal: 150 lb - Hey everyone! At this current moment i weight 200 lbs. I'm trying to lose 50 more. Ever since i've become a vegeterian i've been losing a lot of wieght. I'm pretty much eating the same amout of food but its waaay better for me. Also every night i work out. I dont have any machines or anything, i just have a big room downstairs and pop in some music. I just run around a little to get my pulse going the i do sit ups and stuff. Its really easy. I recommend eating BOCA cheeseburgers!! They are veggie burgers that taste as good as mcdonalds burgers but are only 70 calories! Since my new diet and exercise i've lost 10 pounds in 1 1/2 weeks! The rate gets faster and faster too!

hey, the only ay to get a flat stomach is to eat less fats and do stomach exercises that strengthen and streatch abs. one i liek to do is to lay flat, then lift ur legs all the we up so u make an L w/ ur body, then slowly lower u legs to the floor as if u were trying to lay flat, but to let ur heel touch the floor, and then raise ur legs again and start over, and make sure ur back stays flat on the ground. at the first time doin this exercise, u could hold on to something to keep u down. if u have any questions u can contact me at moostar22@cs.com. i hope this helps!

Hey, everyone! Sorry, it's been ages n ages since I've posted, but I've been SO busy! Anyway, this is to all the girls here: (sorry guys) Last week my dad signed me up at this gym type place a few minuets from my house because I need to get more exersize, and at first I was mad at him for not asking me...But I don't care anymore. The place is called curves, and it's especially for women. They have this circle of epipment that u use in order. You go around the circle three times in a half hour. Every other space is a special platform that u walk/jog in place on. You can even dance on it if u want, cuz they play music. Everyone there is super nice, and its only thirty minuets three times a week. I absolutely despise exersize, and I actually look forward to going. There are Curves all over the US and Canada, so if your looking for a good place to help you on your way to losing weight...I totally sudjest you go here. ~*Hugz*~

I know there are lots of you out there who know that you should exercise, but you don't. You tell other to exercise, but don't do it yourself. Well, pick something that you like to do. Try getting some exercise videos. I like those a whole lot better than going outside and doing something, especially in the winter. There's taebo and kickboxing and yoga and pilates and walk off the weight with Leslie Sansone (for sale at Meijer for about $7), and weight lifting, and so much more. In my personal opinion, videos make exercising so much more fun. Of course there are some exercise videos that aren't very good. So you gotta shop around. I know most of you are like me and can't afford to shop around that much, so see if your local library has any exercise videos. That's where I first discovered Leslie Sansone. I think she's a good instructor. You can also go on amazon.com and search... (view more)I know there are lots of you out there who know that you should exercise, but you don't.
