After you cut down on eating so much, does your stomach shrink? It seems like now I can hardly eat a cookie as a snack without being stuffed. I used to be able to come home after school and eat like another whole meal, with being stuffed the same as I am when I eat like a cookie. Does this make sense to anyone? Is it a good thing?

Hey..does anyone in her have OCD? I was just woundering cuz I know that's a big part of my overeating. I'm starting to get control but I still mess up a lot. If anyone else has this problem I'll be here to help cuz I know how it feels like.. Oh by the way guys..I've been doing a lot more exersize here lately..even though I over eat a lot!! And I lost 1 1/2 pounds. 145-143.5. That makes me really happy. I'm gonna try to get my eating habits in control and then I'll probably see the weight drop off. I need to work on eating normally first before I go on a diet..cuz I overeat now..once I get that under control then I'll lower my Calories below 2000. For right now I'm gonna keep exercising. Thanks for all of the support guys.

Hi my name is Alicia and I would like to share my weight loss sucess story I used to weigh 290 pounds I WAS MISERABLE well one day I got up off of my rear end and said to myself I CANT TAKE IT ANYMORE I was sooo sick of being obese my goal was 145 now I am 145 it took me 1 year on a steady diet ok this is what I did I guzzeld water every chance i got I even took bottles to school for brekfast I usualy ate 2 scrambled eggs and I didnt use grease in the skillet I used PAM that is very important pam is not fatty for lunch I ate whatever the school served but i cut it in half and i had a salad but I brought a Crystal Light drink for dinner I really liked skinless baked chicken sometimes I chopped the chicken up in the salad and just had salad for dinner I also drank lots of PURE Grapefruit Juice it has to be pure!!! and I also ate celery beause grapefruit and celery contain so much acid if... For my exercises I did Tae Bo Windsor Pilates Richard Simmons workout tapes I also bought the bun and thigh lateral trainer and I did that everyday I also ran on my tredmil 45 min a day and I own a spinning bike I had my own personal spinning class and i also did the FIRM workout tapes oh yeah I took Mega t Green Tea diet pill supplemnts I took these becuase I hate the taste of green tea and the pills really work but you have to put forth the effort and try try try You will succeed if u try hope i helped you all. remember if you try you will defiantely SUCCEED (view less)

I have 3 smaller siblings so we always have jun kfood in the pantry.): and we're not rich, so i cant go buy healthy stuff- b/c these days.. you can get two packs of m&m's for one dollar and a apple for like 3!! Hey everyone!!!Finally!!! I moved from 'overweight'to 'at risk of becoming overweight'!!!! Now I weigh 195, still quite yucky, but 4 any of u who remember 10 weeks ago I weighed 230, my target still is to be 180 by my birthday (may) and then to get to about 165 by september. I just gotta say to any new ppl on hear this is the best thing I ever did! I mean I always new I was overweight and just kept putting it off - then when I saw I weighed 230 that totally shocked me! So give it a go! Its not just about looking good - I am so much healthier!!! The thing thats kept me going is the support I've had - my best friend Pete and my dad started the same time as me, then after two weeks our 2 neighbours saw how much we had lost and joined us. Between us we have lost about 160lbs between us!!!

ok everyone, I've been noticing that alot of people along with me feel bad about their weight, even if they are losing weight...I think that the regular users of this site need to come together and organize the teen Bulliten Board in someway...I have some ideas to show you what I mean..first of all along with our name (or instead of) we could put a category name such as: exercise,diet,self esteem,problem,question,atkins diet ect...) so people know where to look for specific help and so on...another idea I have is what I posted earlier about putting ideas on gaining self esteem and respect for your body...no matter how skinny you are your not going to be truely healthy or happy unless you are mentally happy and feel good about yourself...please keep on posting this so everyone can get the message about the cataogires and post with any other ideas! THANKS GUYS! ~B

hey! A good start for all of you might be to get a little book called "toning for teens" its an excellent start to weight loss and healthy dieting. It's helped me tone and shape my body to make it look the way I want it to. It also includes eating, exercises & weight training. A lot of people fear weights and this book will calm your fears and it shows you exercises to do with the weights. I hope some of you will look into it! Its about $25 canadian and definitely is worth it! After you read it, pass it on to your parents and they too will be motivated to help you!
