Before you post a reply saying that your child is overweight or that you want them to lose weight, please first check our Weight Calculator. If the calculator says that your child is healthy weight, please do not post a message saying that they are overweight or that you want them to lose weight.  This offends the kids who really are overweight.  Thanks a lot.

From Jesse, child's age 11

Just got back from a trip to Disney World with my 2 boys, Leo (almost 12) and Lane (10). I was shocked at how fat they are compared to other kids I saw. Last night I weighed them. Leo is 225 and Lane is 137. I decided today that the diet starts today. I need to get 100 pounds of fat off Leo and 60 pounds off Lane. They both wear jogging pants all the time because nothing else fits because their bellies and rear ends are so big. Tonight we had pizza, but that's the last regular meal until they get down to the normal size they were a couple years ago. After they go to sleep I'm clearing out all the cookies, chips, candy, etc. and from now on its skim milk, salad, no daily fast food stops, no evening ice cream treats, no extra money to buy food at school. To give you idea how fat they both are, Leo is 5 feet even and Lane is 4'8. No video games unless they lose 2 pounds a week each. Wish me luck!
