Before you post a reply saying that you are overweight or that you want to lose weight, please first check our Weight Calculator . If the calculator says that you are healthy weight, please do not post a message saying that you are overweight or that you want to lose weight.  This offends the kids who really are overweight.  Thanks a lot.

    Message Replying To

From Lexi, Age 12

Ht. 5"5, Wt. 150 - Hey everybody. This is going to be a positive message. I just wanted to say that I weigh 150 pounds at age 12, and I'm ok with it. Well sort of. I know everyone makes fun of me and says things about me behind my back, but it doesn't bother me as much as it used to. I don't get asked to do a lot of things, so I focus a lot of my time on school. I get pretty good grades and I tutor people. I know some of the people I tutor are embaressed that I'm their tutor, but in the end they're happy they got their grades up and when they thank me, it all feels worth it. I am still trying to lose weight, and I excersise all the time, but in the meantime, I don't take things so hard anymore. I think a good idea for you guys would be to focus your engery on something you like to do, preferably something that you can do yourself or help someone else, and spend most of your time on that. Does anyone have anything like my tutoring? What is it? What are some things other people can do? -LeXi
