If the calculator says that you are healthy weight, please do not post a message saying that you are overweight or that you want to lose weight. This offends the kids who really are overweight. Message Replying To From Monique, Age 13 Ht. 5'11, Wt. 170 - * I posted this.. but some of you guys are still emailing me.. just read it & i'll comment back as soon as I can. I mean, I know it's hard being "chubby" and well.. I know I got chubby by eating donuts.. *STAY AWAY!* I told my dad I loved them and he kept buying me some.. so I'd eat about 2 a day.. they're killer! Well.. I noticed that I was around 220lbs.. AHH. I immidietly cut down on drinking pop.. I used to drink maybe 3-4 cans a day.. so, for those two months I drank nothing but water and ate the exact same way (not even healthy) and I dropped 10 lbs.. I think it's a good way for starters.. just cut the pop. So, after that I was around 210lbs.. it sucks, I used to get constant backpain but it's getting all better now. I try to eat as many vegetables a day (two salads, an apple, and orange, & sometimes grapes!) they fill me up and they also taste good :) I love swimming, so you should find something healthy that you love to do.. since it's winter, it's kinda hard to go swimming so I do, 20 pushups, 20 situps 20 windmills (google search) and jump rope 100 times a day.. it really does work.. I know it might be hard at first but it really does work. So, my advice for starters is stay away from pop try water, eat lots of fruits and veggies AND 20 pushups, 20 situps 20 windmills (google search) and jump rope 100 times a day.. I'm lazy.. I know, so I hate running just doing that helps me lose the weight :) |
