Hi i'm new here i just found this site. my name is Katie and i am 9 today. yesterday we had a party with a bbq and i ate loads of stuff burgers and sausages and chips and salad and then trifle and ice cream and sara lee chocolate gateu and coke and my tummy felt soooo full it was great. i dont care how fat i get but i just loooove to eat till i'm stuffed and my tummy gets hard. i weigh 176 but i was 184 but Mom and me lost some for lent and we gave some money to poor starving kids but now its past easter we can stuff again. its real kewl.luvKatie

Hey Katie were story was kinda sad. But you got to the best you can to let the candy. For example my little use to eat alot of candy then we realize that it can make her so we made her stop eating alot of candy.And she's only 5. So please do it for your family. Sorry it to me forever to write this but I'm new here.It may be 2004 but if you is still fat go with my advice. from someone who really cares Shara-Jackson,TN

i know what u mean. i love stuffing myself until mybelly bulges 2. but then i feel so sick afterwards.

Katie, My suggestion would be to talk to your Mom and Dad about making an appointment with a "Nutritionist". This is a doctor that can help you with loosing weight. This doctor may make out your personal meal plan so that you know what to eat and when to eat and how much to eat. Remember to drink losts of water and exercise. If rather not excercise, try dancing in your room (or wherever) with a friend if possible, that could be lot's and lot's of fun. You'll actually be excersing and you'll feel great afterwards!!! STAY AWAY FROM BBQ FOOD FOR NOW. THINK OF BBQ AS YOUR ENEMY. HOPE THAT HELPS. Good luck, Katie. Ask your parents to help you stop your cravings. Ask them to cut some food out of the barbeque, for everyone's sake. Then the barbeque won't be so much of an impact. Good luck!

Even if you don't want to you should try this: Before every meal or big snack drink water until you're not really hungry.

I know that you are you and you have your own thoughts. But you really should consider about not caring how fat that you get. Whether you want to admit or not, I think you are probably bothered by it. It's not healthy at all.

Hey, girl!! :) I know exactly what you mean about loving to eat! In my family, we enjoy getting together and eating good food and talking. One of my favorite snacks is a choclate spread called Nutella... spread it on homemade wheat bread... mmmm!!! :) BUT... I don't enjoy being fat. I was overweight when I was your age, and remember being made fun of. Now i'm 17, and I REALLY don't feel good. And when you're a teenager, the teasing just gets WORSE!! So, I would try changing the way I eat (from burgers to salads) and feel free to cheat, but only like once a week... and don't over do it. I also found that if I ate ONLY when I was hungry, and stopped when I was absolutely full.. felt BETTER than stuffing myself!! :)
