We stopped eating most carbs but we drank water, and kept eating fruit and yogurt because it's good for a growing body. Now we try to eat at the most one starch- potato, bread, anything with flour. Never eat it at supper becuase your body can't burn the fat before you go to bed. I am 5'1" and went from 135 lbs. on vacation to 123 and a half and I've only done it for a month. Excersize would make this even better. Cut out all sweets if possible. If you really want soda have your parents buy Waist Watchers soda because it is made with Splenda a sugar substitute.
