Ht. 5'4, Wt. 172 - Hi! At the beginning of the school year, the Gym teachers weigh us in. I weighed myself, and then they weighed me in Gym, and I weighed 10 pounds more than I did at home! I was so depressed and embarrased, in front of everybody. I already gained 8 pounds this summer! What will I do when it comes up 10 pounds more? My mom won't buy a new scale either! HELP ME!

Not trying to be rude or anything , but what Heather says isn't entirely accurate. My mother is a personal trainer and nutritionist , and she has always taught me that there is no ''quick fix'' for losing weight and exercising alot will not help you in the long run, it will only tire you out and it is unlikely that you will be able to stick with it (and by that , i am not saying you personally will not be able to stick with it, i am just saying it is unlikely that most people will be able to stick with it) , and it is better to start out with small changes and gradually (not too gradually though) make bigger changes. Anyway, if you have anymore questions, email me at shakebo@hotmail.com !

if you don't have a scale in the first place, how did you weigh yourself? Obviously the scale you weighed yourself on is wrong, because I'm sure the school's wouldn't it
