WHAT IS THE DIFFERNCE BETWEEN CRUNCHES AND SITUPS AND DO THEY WORK?

I'm assuming you know the basics...The difference: SITUPS: When you are doing them, you come all the way up...doing these strain your back and neck, and are not good to do. CRUNCHES: When you are doing them, you don't come all the way up(like situps). Instead, when doing a crunch, you come up only half way, not letting your middle back come up off the floor. (a tip: make sure than your chin is not touching your neck. instead, look at a high point like the ceiling when you come up.)
Reply from Ra Ra, Age 12 - 02/10/05 - IP#: 24.176.106.xxx hey we have the same name so i changed it 2 ra ra so people and myself wont get confused.Well any way when u just do situps on the floor some times ur neck starts hurting real bad.But when u use a kruch it does not hurt ur neck and u get way more exercise than when u just do situps.So if u r using situps dont just use a krunch.
