Ht. 5'0", Wt. 169 - guys i dont think vollyball is working out.i think im actually gaining weigt!! because i get really tired and when i get home,i eat tramendis amountof food and then lay on the couch because my legs are sore then do my homework.finally have dinner take a shower then a snack then go to sleep! what should i do???

dont have the snack before bed!
you don't need it, just go to sleep and your mind will soon understand that you don't need it.
Try not eating anything after 7pm, it helps because after that time, many people aren't active at all

hey, i have some really good advice for you.k. what you do is don't eat a big dinner, if you do the energy from the food will store in the weight that you already have and give you more weight. If you have to eat a small breakfast than eat a big lunch & a really small dinner. Or when you get home form school or on the weekends set aside time to jogg or even speed walk for a couple miles. Belive me it works I use to weigh 130 now I weigh 109 'cause of this advice. Oh... try to eat healthier & join a running sport instead of volly-ball. Volly-ball you just stand there & hit a ball, well... sometimes you have to run. Follow my advice and you will saceed in your dream of loosing weight ~~ kelsey ~~

Yes, do eat protein! Don't have a snack after dinner, because if it is too close to your bedtime, it can hurt how well you sleep! And though you may already know, you burn more calories when you sleep then when you sit and watch tv! Just keep your snacks healthy and remember, it isn't volleyball's fault, since almost all sports make you hungry and sore. Not to make you feel bad though.....

when you get home eat a food high in protein. They fill you up faster. You may have seen someone sit and eat and entire bag of chips but have you ever seen someone eat an entire carton of eggs at once? And, as always, drink water, water, and more water.
