Ht. 5'0", Wt. 193 - oh my god i gained 20 pounds!and all my pants fit small i am already 40 pounds hevier than my mom.when i went shoping for pants with the elastic waistbands.in womans clothing.and when i was at Gym class we were soposed to run a mile which is four laps in 12 minuts i only did 2!then when we did pushups and sit-ups girls need to do 13 i only did 3.i get so hungry at school i eat a pizza box a brounie soda and a bag of chips! not good but it is the only thing that fulls me!at home we always eat out or fast food,and i always eat the left overs then i get tierd sit on the couch watching tv and eating a bad of chips,soon i get hungry and eat some more by going to walgreens and buying 10 dollers in junk food what should i do?
Reply from Diane, Age 11 - 04/30/07 - IP#: 69.108.90.xxx If you want to loose a lot of weight than during the summer, eat healthy foods like salad instead of fast food or carby food like pasta. After meals don't sit down but exercise while you read or watch a show an TV. When you're hungry, just drink a lot of milk. The snacks got to go. IF you're hot, then drink a healthy Jamba Juice smoothie for a meal. Don't try to eat when you're not hungry also. Try smelling strawberries and bannanas and massage your stomach while you try to digest solid waste.
Reply from maddie, Age 11 - 01/08/07 - IP#: 24.159.197.xxx eating all that junk food fills u up for a little while but then a half hour later your hungry again. try eating half of what you eat now, it will shrink your stomach(a little) and you will not be as hungry. and eat healthier. pack your own lunch so you will be able to make good choices. and eat breakfast!
Reply from Lindsey, Age 11 - 01/07/07 - IP#: 207.200.116.xxx Put cute little signs wherever you get food that say "Are you really hungry?" Also, hang a swimsuit on the fridge for motivation. When you go out to eat follow these rules: Grilled chicken, broth based soup (not creamy), and salads with dressing on the side are what you need to get, unless it is kid sized. If it is kid sized, still get a healthier option. With fast-food, always get water or diet soda with a salad or a kid's meal with chicken (if fried take of batter part) and fruit. AND DO NOT STARVE YOURSELF EVER!!!!!! Trust me, these small sacrifices will be worth it when you can wear a size 1 or 3! GOOD LUCK!
