Ht. 5'6", Start: 180 lb, Today: 178 lb, Goal: 140 lb - Wow I haven't been on this site for a long time! I used to post daily... what happened to me?
Anyways, I talked to my Gym coach on my last day of Gym last week because next quarter I have Health. I'm afraid to leave because in Gym we run alot and it seems to be helping and my soccer season is over and other than soccer and Gym, all I do for excersize is ride my bike. Coach said that riding bikes are good, but only if you pedal most of the time. If you glide the whole time, that's not good. He said that I need to be running on my own. I really want to make him proud, so next year I'll look thin and healthy for him. He's been my coach since 6th grade (last year), and this year, and I'll have him for the last time next year in 8th grade. I want to lose weight for me and for him! I just eat too much. That's my problem. I want self confidence, also! I can't even walk down a hallway without being embarrassed and feel like everyone is looking at me and is going to say something to me. I'm only confident around my friends, but I only have a few friends. People are cruel. They think they have the right to do and say hurtful things to people like us, just because of our appearence.
What I really want to know is: does anyone have excersizes and strategies for food that WORK???!!! THANX!!! :)
