Reply from Aryana, Age 12 - 06/20/07 - IP#: 74.232.255.xxx don't listen to alysa or that girl. you are beautiful the way you are. maybe you should find a sport you like. do gymnastics, dance, tennis, soccer, or any other sport. you should start little if you chose track. you should try to run as much as you can until you think you should stop. maybe you should run, and when you get tired walk, and then run. do that every day adding more everyday. soon, you will love other sports too. you should get your friends to help you, they can motivate you. cut off on junk food some more. get frozen yogert or fat free ice cream, instead of regular ice cream. try skim milk instead of whole.and lot fat snacks or 100 calorie packs. you can still enjoy foods you love, but you will feel better when you eat. if you have anymore questions, email me at ariyanehn101@yahoo.com good luck =}
Reply from {j a c q u e l i n e, Age 14 - 05/08/07 - IP#: 71.134.156.xxx That girl said WHAT?! That's horrible! Don't listen to her, or anyone for that matter. Try, first, to build up a "wall". This "wall" will almost shield you from people saying those things; just concentrate on your goal, and if you need to, use what they say to FUEL you into weight loss. As for your parents, say you don't mind being how you are but you really would like to be HEALTHIER. Try eating fruits and vegetables (get easy ones, like apples, bananas, grapes, carrots and broccli) and then add things in like yogurt. Make small changes at first, like skim milk (after a while it'll be the "regular" milk), wheat bread instead of white, no soda, and less chips. When your parents have something you love (like, for example, pizza) simply have one slice, a fruit salad, and a glass of water. Try walking more, and lifting five pound dumbbells. They're easy but for beginners they'll build muscle. Best of luck! :D

Reply from Alysa, Age 12 - 05/07/07 - IP#: 71.34.234.xxx Okay you need to not lisen to what your parents say about being overweight. Because you can die of obsedy. You can get diabetes. You need to stop eating so much junk food. Tell your mom&dad that it's important to you to loose weight. Don't just over eat because they do. You need to be individual. Tell you mom not to buy so much junk food. She'll understand. Just tell her.
