Ht. 5'0", Start: 146 lb, Today: 144 lb, Goal: 105 lb - Well today I guess im pretty happy the bad thing is my mom took me, and my brother out to lunch and I had an icecream sundae! I know its bad but it wasnt that big... and also I managed to loose 2 pounds so im getting there but I skipped breakfast bad I know. I was able to workout during the only time I have which is in the morning and I went up and down my stairs 20 times and did some other exercise but I had to re-tell my mom that I am going on a strict diet (Im not going to starve myself) and I said we are not going out to eat anywhere and she said ok. I have a question for everyone, I see people saying im going to the gym but all the gyms I know of you have to be at least 18 so I want to go to a gym but dont know what to do PLEASE HELP!! Allison

hi allison! i have a daughter your age and size and while it is good to be healthy and want to lose weight, don't let it rule your life. Your body will go thru a bunch of changes as soon as puberty hits so dont stress over weight. In the meantime you be proud of who you are,be confident in yourself, and most of all,be a kid and enjoy it because before you know it you are old with responsibilities!!!Good luck to you!

For the gym thing, theres nothing really you can do. Its not like you can sneak in, no offense. Have you tried looking into medical centers? They sometimes have gyms for workers and the community, but you may have to make a membership. Here, you only have to be 15 to join though. That doesn't really help you either though. Are you into any sports? they help ALOT. Also, running/walking and biking don't require a gym. So you could do those also
