Reply from Marta, Age 11 - 07/02/07 - IP#: 66.79.236.xxx Okay first of all you should eat a well balanced breakfast like some healthy cereal a fruit and maybe like some chesse or half a bagel. (i know it sounds like a lot but you need the energy.) Then you should have a snack in between breakfast and lunch. Like a fruit, dairy product, homemade plain popcorn or a special k bar or something else that is healthy that you can think of. At lunch, try a whole wheat bagel, 1 scrambled egg and an apple. You have to have variety. Try not to eat in front of the tv. You should also have a snack between lunch and dinner. Try having at least 1 hour of exersise each day. (swimming is great) For dinner i dont know what your family usually eats but try to recommened more veggies or salads. :) When you eat meat, it should be the size of your palm of your hand. Some other tips are: drink 8 cups of water each day eat 3 meals a day and 2 small snacks try having 5-8 servings of fruits and veggies a day Remember that you should cut out pop and juice because they could have a lot of calories but a healthy drink could be v8 vegtable cocktail (i dont like it) but there is also v8 splash (yum) it has 2 fruit servings per cup and it has some veggies in it but you cant taste them plan things out like what your going to eat and exersise if you have a craving think if you dont eat it that is a step closer to losing weight it counts as a small portion using this plan i lost about 3 pounds and havent gained it back :) good luck!!
