The advise I give to my daughter is to eat lots of fruit and fruit salad, good cereal like Cheerios with skim milk and a sliced bannana. Don't know if you like vegetables, but try to fill up on that too with dinner or at least salad with a little olive oil and vinager. And try whole grain foods. When I was 11 I gave my soda and candy convinced that in giving up those two things would make me beautiful and I stuck to it. I just pretended it wasn't available when I saw it in front of me. And, don't eat chips. By doing all of this, I promise you'll feel so good physically and emotionally. Being young is a good time to take charge which is what you are doing.
