are best for losing weight in the stomach, and thighs?

Yoga, Pilates, jumping jack, lunges, and squats work really well. Don't feel bad! Asking for help and admitting you want to be healthier is the first step to getting fit. :) Exercise and eat healthy (with a treat once or twice a week) and I promise you'll loose weight.
