Hey im 5"2 and 155lbs and im trying to lose 30lbs before i go on holiday (august 11th) i need some tips on how do it though, i go on my running machine for half an hour everynight and i have a trampoline in my back garden so me and mi sister nd burva r on it for hours a night and so far i have lost about 3lbs but i dosnt show HELP!

Reply from Sammy, Age 12 - 05/10/05 - IP#: 24.236.241.xxx How long have you been on a diet? In addition to weighing yourself, try counting the inches you lose around your waist too. If you havn't already, try cutting out some of the junk food you have on a regular basis and replace them with fruits and vegetables. After you eat a meal and you are still hungry, try to drink a big glass of ice water instead of eating more. It fills you up just about as much as eating more would. Another trick is to eat 5 small meals instead of 3 huge meals. For example, have a small breakfast and then have a small snack in between your lunch and breakfast. Then after lunch, about mid way between lunch and dinner have another small snack. Keep the lunch and dinner to a smaller amount to. Don't cut it down so much that you are still very hungry after each meal...just enough if you know what i mean. It's better to eat 5 smaller meals because it keeps your metablism running throughout the day. One last thing, don't eat anything 3 hours before you go to bed. If you don't already know, the fat just sits in your body because you are inactive (obviously) when you sleep. Alright..well I hoped I helped and don't give up! I know you can do it even if the results arn't showing right away. They will later and all the hard work will definately pay off!!
