Ht. 5'4, Wt. 18- - im sad and depressed being overweight i had teachers come up 2 me telling me 2 lose weight.i lose all of my friends because im overweight.i try all i ca but i dont lose.my aunt even called me fat.ive been overweight since i was in kindergraden.i hardly eat and i still gain.people say im fat because i eat 2 much when i dont eat lunch or breakfast.i just started jr.high so i no its going 2 get harder.ive been teased more now then ever and i just want 2 lose it.so pealse be a friend a true friend 4 me.
Reply from jessica, Age 14 - 11/25/05 - IP#: 24.74.33.xxx im overweight ill admit it but i have lots of friends and its not cause im skinny i know im not skinny believe me im not. i have friends because i talk to people i dont skip meals and i try to get up off my butt and do something and besides if you skip meals you acutally gain weight. it does not matter wat or how much you eat its if you go do something like walking or running. as for your aunt tell her to bite ya.
Reply from liz, Age 12 - 11/13/05 - IP#: 172.160.248.xxx I know how you feel you go to the mall and you see some nice pants that you really like and will like to show to people but then you notice you will never fit into those pants my advice is if you really want to lose weight pick diet cola then Coca=cola DONT skip breakfast! that actually helps YOU lose WEIGHT!.Try to do as much situps or whatever if your neck or back hurts lay off a day.
Reply from billy, Age 13 - 11/07/05 - IP#: 64.252.53.xxx hi julie im billy and i also think i am overweight. there are ways to saty healthy and ways for you to lose wieght but not eating is not one of them. you have to eat furits and vegetables and not junk in ordfer to lose wieght. if you have a near by ymca around go to the gym there. you should have plent of friends. i trhink it is rediculas that you feel deprerssed becasue there is no point to not have friends. you sound like a ownderful kind and smart person and if people make you feel that way then you should stand up for your self and say who cares dont look at who i am on the outside dont judge me but look at the person i am on the inside. you are beautiful in every way inside and out. dont be ashamed of yourslef work tpowards being and looking like a bteer person i have faith in you and i hope you have faith in your self.. now please consider what i have said and i will tlak you you soon.

Like switch to 1% milk and then work your way down to skim milk, use 50% light cheese, fat free mayonnaise (I prefer fat free miracle whip. It has more flavor) and stuff like that. Don’t eat a lot of butter. Try using Butter Buds which are butter flavored granulates. You can find them in the seasonings section at the store. Eat high in fiber foods like whole wheat bread instead of white. Instead of eating regular pizza try frozen smartones or south beach diet pizzas. And instead of ice cream try south beach diet cookies and weightwatchers ice cream bars, weight watchers cake, healthy choice ice cream, no pudge ice cream bars, or skinny cow ice cream bars. They have a lot of desserts out there that aren’t that bad for you! Some things I find helpful is to eat a small salad with fat free dressing with lunch and dinner. It makes you more full when you go to eat your main meal. Don't eat too many sweets. Make sure you don't have soda or chips on a regular basis. Eat LOTS of fruits and vegetables. And drink A LOT of water! Exercise daily. You can walk, or you can run, or ride your bike, or swim. Whatever you choose to do make sure you exercise for at least an hour daily. If you want you can just walk for thrity minutes and then swim for a little while and then just do outside play like jumping on a trampoline or playing basketball. weigh yourself every week and keep track of your weight. if you feel like snacking try drinking flavored water to satisfy your sweet tooth. Pay attention to portion sizes. If the serving size is one cup, don't have more than one cup. Portion sizes are one of the most important things in dieting. And remember to have faith in yourself. If you get yourself down it'll be ten times harder. And also remember to let go every once in a while and eat something that isn't in your diet! Good luck!
