fresh fruits, nuts, veggies- basically a lot of things that are not packaged for a long term self-life. it usually means they have a lot of perservatives and sodium in them- which is not good for a diet. i remember going to germany last summer and my host family ate all the time which meant that i ate all of the time- dark chocolate and cherries, bread(they get their bread from a bakery so it's fresher) and fresh fruits and veggies. i was always full. i thought that when i got home i would be 10lbs heavier- but i was 5lbs lighter!
