Ht. 5"5, Wt. 149 - If my daily calorie intake is 1897.5, then how many calories should I be eating per day in order to lose weight? :)

try cutting it down to 1500 and add exersize

Okay, thanks for your help. :) Sorry, I didn't make myself too clear but I meant that's the amount of calories that I eat per day. I wasn't sure how many to cut off in order to lose weight.

since youre still growing, you should eat 1500

You can eat that much and still lose weight, it all depends on how much you workout. And the average teen needs about 2,000-2,500 cals. a day, so it depends on what your BMI# is. Yours is 24. There fore you should eat about 1,400 calories per day along with excersize to lose weight.

well i think to lose weight generally you should eat about 1200 calories...well I think thats right anyways

do you mean- that's what you burn in a day, or that that is what you are used to eating? i do not understand what you are asking...
