Ht. 5'3, Wt. 140 - hey i'm new here. i have a hard time not eating junk food. everyday when i get home i pig out. i want to lose some weight and get in shape. i do exersize. i'm i 5 different dance classes. if i don't lose some weight my mom's gonna take me out of dance. i don't know how to eat a sensable meal. and i need to know how to avoid all the food that i eat when i get home. i have stretch marks of my sides and i want to get rid of them.

It would actually be hurting you to have your mom take you out of dance because that is great excersize and if you were out of it you would be bored more often and eat! When you eat out eat 75% of what is on your plate unless it's non cream based soup or a salad with dressing on the side. (With the dressing on the side you cut many calories. You can still drizzle a little bit on for taste though, and still eat all of it.) Or you can do this diet I gave to this other guy that lost a few pounds. Tell me if you want it, or you can just use this. Oh and I almost forgot! Along with dance try going out for some excersize like a walk or jump-roping, just to add to the fat-burning power. You should even try weight lifting. I like the book "Toning For Teens" by Joyce L. Vedral. Soon you'll be a lean, mean, dancing machine! Good luck!

concentrate on balancing your meals. eat 1/4 plate of meat(or other source of high protien), 1/2 a plate full of veggies, 1/4 plate full of grains. for desert eat soming low in calories but that you really want. fruit with whipped cream is great...also, use www.caloriesperhour.com to calculate if you are getting enough protien and fiber and staying in line with your fat and calories. good luck!
