Ht. 6'0, Wt. 218 - ugh...breakfast oatmeal lunch nothing dinner-probbly chicken with broccoli...i just ordered the mtv pilates dvd to try does ne one else have that dvd? im gonna try it and see if i like it. im gaining weight back and i feel like a failure but when i feel bad about myself all i do is eat does ne one else have the same problem?...well replys would be pretty sweet so PLEASE HELP!
Reply from Mikayla, Age 15 - 04/18/06 - IP#: 71.227.254.xxx 1500 calories is a lot amanda. My dad works with nutritionists and they say 1000-1200. Basically you take your goal weight and add a zero behind it and that is what you should eat, but a minimum of 1000.

Make sure you eat 3 meals per day, or do what some others have recommended and try for multiple small meals. It isn't going to hurt you; it's going to help you. Losing weight and getting fit isn't about depriving yourself; you can still eat what you love, but try it in smaller amounts or whatever. Anyways, good luck. :)

In order to get your metabolism burning you have to eat small frequent meals and AT LEAST 1500 calories a day. If you dont..then duuhhh..of course youll gain weight.
