Reply from Julie, Age 17 - 05/15/06 - IP#: 4.242.171.xxx hey julie. I love your name!!! Anyway, just do what you can and increase your amount slowly. If you can feel the burning when you are finishing, than you are working your muscles. Just remember, crunches don't help you lose fat, just builds muscle. You need to do cardio as well.

Reply from Julie, Age 15 - 05/15/06 - IP#: 72.140.84.xxx well i was just checking to see if the people who do them do all the crunches at once or if they spread them out..
Reply from amanda, Age 17 - 05/15/06 - IP#: 24.28.146.xxx 400 crunches done right is easy. Just spread them out in your morning and evening exercise routines. And actually..doing 400 crunches is better than doing 20..thats a real no brainer...
Reply from Marina, Age 18 - 05/15/06 - IP#: 71.19.42.xxx Julie, don't worry about how many crunches they're doing. (there's a pretty good chance they're doing them wrong!) It's quality over quantity. Seriously - there's so much truth behind that saying when it comes to this. If you can to 20 proper crunches, then thats excellent. You'll get more results then someone who does 100 lousy ones. Also, you need to work your abdominals in different ways then crunches, otherwise crunches become less effective. Look up some new techniques online. I think there are some on this site. www.toneteen.com
