Ht. ..., Wt. ... - I am quite a good runner but my weights holding me back. I hav a 1500m race soon and i reali wanna b slightly thinner and my main prob is my massive belly it sticks out loads. any advice guys PLEASE POST

i can totally relate. doing ab workouts are good, especially for runners (core strength is really important) however, they wont really help you lose much weight/fat. Cardio is really what is going to help you. if you are a runner, you are probably already running a lot, at least 4-5 times a week? Maybe your diet has some weaknesses that you could improve? Otherwise, maybe increase your running, a little?

eat fruits and vegies and dont eat more then1200 calries a day and do lots of crunches sit ups and other ab work outs
