Ht. 5'4, Wt. Too much - I've hit a snag guys. I'm not gaining (which is good) but I am not losing either. I want to lose 8 pounds by the end of June, but I am so stressed out lately, I dont know how motivated I will be. All I know is that as soon as summer comes around I will be one becoming-lean, mean excersizing machine =D
Reply from Samantha, Age 17 - 05/23/06 - IP#: 24.61.182.xxx I heard someone say this about hitting a weight plateau the other day... "insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result." So... if you've hit a snag, do something different. Maybe you've been doing the same work out routine for a while. Your body's probably gotten used to it. Try different variations on what you're doing or try new excercises all together. Or incorporate new foods or less foods. The less you weigh, the less cals your body needs to stay healthy. Also, the up side of a plateau is that it means your body has reached a "new normal", meaning that it's used to your new lifestyle - your healthier life style. I'd stay it's a big step. :) Good luck.
Reply from sage, Age 14 - 05/23/06 - IP#: 71.111.117.xxx haha ive been in that situation before. dont worry. haha. it comes amoung most dieters. this means that you're eating basically whatever you want, but excersizing (sp?) which is good, & will cause you to not gain, but no lose either. OR, you need to limit more down on your calorie intake. this means youve eatin at a certain calorie limit, and you need to move it down. i hope this helps!
