Ht. 5'2, Wt. 155 - i give up. nothing i do works and when my weight starts to go down it shots right back up. any ideas how to keep it down

Reply from chels, Age 14 - 05/27/06 - IP#: 205.188.116.xxx i feel the same way .. everyday it just gets worse and worse and i just want to forget it all and just give up and i do and then i regret it and try again but it still doesnt work i dont think ive actually ever went more than 2 days dieting/exersising good it pretty much sucks but im still trying and ive been trying since 5th grade and im now going in to 10th grade and i feel like im wasting my life worrying about my weight but i also feel like i wont be able to live a good life unless i lose weight . good luck.
Reply from Mikayla, Age 15 - 05/26/06 - IP#: 24.18.50.xxx Don't diet just to diet. Change what you eat in a way that you can continue for the rest of your life. And excersize. I know how you feel though. Restricting makes the pounds melt away, but it makes it harder to keep off when you meet a goal. I recomend organic foods. You can find a lot of popular foods in organic form, including jelly, crackers and cheeses. I have been following a 1200 calorie diet with those products and I havent felt deprived. I also let myself eat one normal meal a week to keep from binging.
