Ht. 5'5?, Wt. 155 - Hey guys, I'm down to the home stretch, 15 more pounds. I'd like to lose it by maybe mid-July. I have one question though: in all, so far, I've lost around 27 pounds, yet I haven't went down any sizes AT ALL. :( I started out at 182, and now I'm down to 155. I was trying on shorts today at JCPenny's, the Arizona Jean brand, and my usual size is a 17, the heighest, and I decided to try on a 15, and they were way too snug for me. :( A lot of my other pants though, in the same brand, that are a size 17, seem to be getting way too big. So I don't know what's going on here, but it just sort of bugs me. :/ Plus, I checked my height the other day, and it appeared to be 5'4. :( Of course, it is sort of hard to check your height by yourself, so I'm a still a bit unsure. I guess maybe before I was checking it with shoes on.

Lately it has been 2-3 miles. I've cut out all junk food and fast food, except for Subway. Sure, there are special occassions, and a couple of weeks ago I had some pizza, but I limited myself to 2 slices. Or if I eat a big meal, I'll limit myself during the rest of the day. I alwyas try to get in some water, and if I can't get in all 8 glasses, I aim for 4 glasses. Any helps. I've also been drinking some green tea lately. Anyways, I think the big changes have been the no sweets and the walking. Good Luck. :D

Reply from Mikayla, Age 15 - 06/09/06 - IP#: 24.18.50.xxx Same problem here. I was size 18 through my weight gain and current weight loss. Now size 18 droops, 16 fits but its kinda tight. I think its because you are losing inches in places other than where you would probably assume (i.e. your face). I think it is also because pants and other clothes stretch out with use.
Reply from nicole, Age 16 - 06/09/06 - IP#: 72.193.168.xxx i had the same problem- my size 16 pants were litterally falling down but when i tried on a 14- they seemed a little too snug. once i dropped a couple more pounds it made a big difference- it could also be that you are gaining muscle
