Ht. 5'5, Wt. 210 - for the past week all ive eaten is my dinner eash night. i know you should eat more and im definetly not anorexic, i just haven't got an appetite. i haven't weighed myself so i dont know what's going on with that, but what do you guys think?

loss of apetite is usuallly a sign that some thing is wrong. go to the doctors and find out and just try to eat. soup's really good.

i used to do the same thing except i only ate lunch and it was a bowl of green beans everyday i wasnt aneroxic but i started showing early symptoms and i was excersizing for 4 hours a day and one day i just fainted its not healthy to do that and of all meals dinner isnt the best to eat because you dont burn too much at night but you should at least go on a 1200-1500 calorie diet with some excersize its a lot healthier than what you are doing if you are trying the fast weight loss its not going to happen by starving yourself i started out at your weight and took me 2 years to get down to where i am now but good luck and x3_nadie_x3@yahoo.com if you need help or anything

even when you dont have an appetite you should still eat!! it makes your body work harder and then you can burn off more calories. now im not saying overeat, because then there is no health use. just do me a favor and PLEASE eat breakfast because that makes your metabolism started and you burn more calories without the day!! so please even if you dont have snacks just eat breakfast!! but it would be gresat to get the proper nutrition by eating 5 small meals throughout the day, but hey thats your choice. g00d luck

At one point I was hardly eating anything at all too; i wasn't anorexic but i was basically doing the same thing as you. It works short term, but its unhealthy and i gained most of the weight back. Now i eat three meals and one or two snacks a day. It sounds like it would be alot, but trust me it works.

um..no. If you just eat dinner you won't lose weight. you need 3 course meals + snacks in order to lose weight, though they need to be healthy. Even though anorexic girls don't eat and that's how they become skinny, how do you think they put weight back on? they eat. Your body does go into starvation mode, and it stores extra fat because your threatening it, then when you start eating, it has all that fat stored up. Even if you don't have an appetite, eat little things, or just get back on track ASAP. I don't know where that "you will lose weight, and won't gain it back if you only eat dinner" thing came from. It doesn't work. Good luck.

I actually do the same exact thing, its just after dinner i load up on peanut butter n stuff, blah.. but yeah a ton of people have lost weight just eating dinner, and then started to eat lunch and breakfast again and no weight gain, its weird

If you go the long without food your body is going ot go into starvation mode. Plus you say your not anorexic but thats how it starts. At least eat something for breakfast and and a lunch.
