Make sure your eating balanced Carbs, protine, sugars, fats, it's true you need some of everything everyday to be healthy!! P.S when I say fats and sugar I don't mean go and eat a candy bar I mean eat some fruit for sugar and eat an alvocado or meat for your fat. Also whole grains like pasta, rice and bread!! You can do it!!

Reply from Lauren, Age 17 - 07/09/06 - IP#: 65.78.226.xxx All that I can give you is to lower your calories, (no less than 1200 though!), and exercise. For exercise, just get up and move! Walk your dog, ride your bike, walk around your neighborhood or wherever, clean your room, dance around, whatever you feel comfortable with! Find some healthy snacks; I think that's been the cause of some of my success. Instead of candybars, chips, and icecream, try fresh fruit, jello (I found some really good jello for only 5 calories!), and I personally recommend popsicles. I've found some Fudgesicles that only have 80 calories for two of them. Get to know your nutritional information labels. Anyways, 10 pounds seems pretty reasonable for by the end of summer, and if you work hard at it, I'd say you could probably even lose that much in a month. Don't overwork yourself or get obsessive though. You can have fun and know your boundaries at the same time. Best of Luck!
