Ht. 5'5, Wt. Too much - For dinner I made Garlic Potato Tapas with a fruit kabob. I am starting to enjoy my healthy lifestyle more. In the beginning it was micro planned and just overly strict. It worked i lost a lot of weight and nearly 20 inches from all over my body, but it was boring. I got sick of eating veggie burgers and string cheese everyday. Now I am focusing more on homemade foods to lower my sodium intake. I eat homemade veggie wraps, oatmeal with some fruit, and thanks the Recipezaar I found some really healthy dinners that I can make for my family. I still munch on triscuits and cheese, but thats because the health food doesnt have enough calories in it. I keep my junkfood intake to one day out of the week. I am also focusing more on non-meat protein sources. For excersize I just do moderate workouts. I'll go for a walk if I am in the mood (I go at least 3-4 time a week). I jump on my neighbor's trampoline nearly everyday and get all sweaty and tired. Then I will come home and usually do 30 minutes on a heavily inclined treadmill and 3.4 mph and just walk. Then i will do bicep curls, squats, lunges, crunches, etc. I am not doing it today because I am really really tired, but I will tomorrow. Its become more of a lifestyle change. I find it easier now that I am cooking real meals, and I envision myself continuing this for the rest of my life. I'm not noticing as drastic of changes as I was in the beginning, but for the first time I actually had three people comment on my appearance today: skirt, tanktop, no more braces, and a newly healthy attitude.
