Ht. 5'8'', Wt. Around 190 - I was looking at a lot of peoples postings and a lot of people run a lot. Good for them but I can't run because I have really bad knees that I got from my das's side of the family. Anyone have any suggestions as to what I could do instead? I don't have time to go to the gym everyday. When I do I do the stairmaster, a resistance machine, and a little bit of weights. What cardio exercise can I do while I am at home?

Reply from Molly, Age 14 - 07/19/06 - IP#: 24.208.36.xxx run up and down your stairs using this thing called a pyramid you run the first one every other step up then walk or jog down, the second one every step, the third one 2 feet on every step, and then u do the third again, the second one , and then the first one.. we do this in volleyball(it really gets ur heart beating)
Reply from Sarah, Age 16 - 07/19/06 - IP#: 66.25.157.xxx can you get any of those videos to do at home? billy blanks' -tae bo! boot camp. whatever. walk away the pounds is good too. anything that gets you moving. you can also put on some music and make up a walking routine or dance or something. like just walk in place and add lil things to get your arms going and stuff running in place. whatever.. anything out in the yard. like gardening. i'm about to go pull weeds in our backyard. it's looking a lil shabby! but just anything like that. if you have a dog. go out and play with the dog in the yard. i have a long driveway. so sometiems i run up and down it lol. but if you can get to a track somewhere. you could also walk. or you could walk around the neighborhood. make sure your sort of speed walking. not just strolling.
