Ht. 5'9, Wt. 216.6 - ok, on my diet again. oy, i hate diets theyre soo hard. but i know i want to lose weight more than anything in the world. im on my third day and im doing excellent. i walk 1 hr and 20 min everyday and have changed my diet drastically. I have 11 days untill my dietitian appointment. when i was in 7th grade i lost 37 pounds. since then i have been an extreme yoyo dieter. i think the longest i have stayed on a diet since then was 1 week, so if i could diet untill my dietitan appintment, which would be two week, hten i kno i can do it for good. i reallly want this, is there anyone here who wants to lose weight more then anything in the world! i wanna lose 80 pounds. i wanna be 135, thats what my mom says i have to weigh to get my belly button peirced. i dont know right now i feel good so i hope it stays that way. right now im going start saying something positive about my self everyday.
Day one: I absolutley love my smile. yay!

Another thing to keep in mind though is muscle mass. If you work out a lot as you're shrinking, then you're likely to not lose a lot of pounds. I dropped dress sizes this summer, but I havent lost a pound in 2 months (I actually gained weight and am now statistically obese).

Wow sounds like you're doing great, at 5'9 you could easily weigh 150 and be healthy though. Especially with all this exercise you're doing, you're bound to gain muscle (which weighs more than fat)! Good Luck!

135 is really low for 5'9!! A healthy weight for your height would be around 150. Also don't call it a diet call it a way of life.
