Ht. 5'6, Wt. 176 - Alright guys, so as a few of you know, I've been here since July 16th. (thats 16 days) and I just wanna say that by eating 1250-1450 calories a day and 30+ mins of exercise every second day has enabled me to lose 10.5 lbs. I CAN NOT BELEIVE I ACTUALLY HAD SUBSTANCIAL WEIGHT LOSS! That has never happened to me before. A pound or two yes but mainly it just goes up. Anyways this morning I'm off to my first day of basketball camp, it burns about 1400 calories so I'm going to have to eat a lot more than usual more fats and proteins and carbs... Low sodium, low fat carbs, lean proteins and healthy (NON saturated) fats. I really think I'm on the right track I just hope I can STICK WITH IT. THANKS FOR ALL THE SUPPORT.

If I can do it, you guys can do it. For me the trick was finding hobbies I like that burn lots of calories and finding foods that I like with little calories. For example: I get one cheat a day and its a double chocolate ice cream sandwhich :) HOWEVER its called "skinny cow" because it only has 130 calories! GOOD LUCK YOU GUYS!

Oh my gosh, I'm so happy for you!!! I've never commented to you before but i hope to lose about 20 pounds in a year. I can't believe you lost so much so fast! : ) I have trouble staying on a low cal diet because my mom is always making deliciously unhealthy meals for me. I just need to really exercise!!!
