Angel cake is low fat and low calorie because its mostly air but its DELICIOUS (especially with low fat coolwhip and STRAWBERRIES ) jeez i'm salivating :)

Happy birthday! Personally, I would go ahead and eat one reasonable-sized slice of cake - after all, it is your birthday, and if you eat lower-calorie stuff earlier in the day one piece of cake shouldn't break the bank. If you do want a lighter dessert, the only alternatives I can think of are more like ice cream than cake - Skinny Cow ice cream sandwiches are 140 calories each and Haagen-Dazs tropical sorbet is 150 calories per serving, and both of those are really good. For a restaurant, I'd go with somewhere that has salads you actually want to eat - do you have Fresh Choice where you live? - or, if you like Japanese, sushi and miso soup are fun but still on the lower-calorie side.
