That would mean you were burning 2 calories per sit up. um yeah that would be a definite NO. Try something that gets your heart rate up (running, walking, swimming, sports)

No. Resistance training burns about 300 calories per workout (45 mins). Crunches wouldn't be much more, as you're not moving much weight and you're not doing them fast enough to be aerobic. However......resistance training builds muscle which burns more calories at rest. Also, if you train daily, it will increase your metabolism (especially protein metabolism) which will burn more calories throughout the day. Also, doing crunches does not remove fat from your abs - it only strengthens the muscles that are underneath all the fat

wtf are 1000 yes'? You're going to do 1000 crunches? Good luck doing about 200..no offense, but you would get wiped.
